Who actually owns FXPro? Anyone?

lol they will take your money by spikes , slow execution , fees , commissions , swap , high spreads ....not by keeping your money in their bucket like idiots illegally .

These are weighty alligations you made. I have never experienced or heard of such with fxpro while they accepted US clients and i seriously doubt your claims. Kindly prove us all wrong and post your fxpro account report

Im currently with FXPRO and have accounts on their MT4 platform and ECN cTrader platform, not had 1 requote yet, however I'm sure I was a victim of stop hunting on my EURCHF long postion @ 1.2005 on friday on a spike on the 1 minute charts at 5.34pm GMT, the spike went to 1.2003 however on all my other charts with other brokers, there was no spike.

I traded at FXPro for 2 years or so and had only 2 requotes which is pretty good. Really can't understand some of the critics here tbh. Also callind Dukascopy a scam is just stupid, sorry. When Duka is a scam everything else must be scam too. I'm trading there for 3 years and am in talks to lots of other traders there that are as happy as I am there.

From the above request its easy to see that pipquantum's claim is a hoax. I doubt if he can turn 2500 to 3000 in a year.

Probably he lost all his account and decided to blame his broker. From experience, ive discovered that 99% of all those that complain about brokers in virtualy all forums are either scalpers or EA users. When you trade with a 10 or 15pips stoploss, you are asking for trouble indeed

To my opinion it often happens so that for one trader broker is reliable and for other trader the same broker is not a good one. I also wanted to find a statistics of brokers, a good and independent statistics, which people can really believe. I found it on earnforex. They work from 2005 and don't cooperate with any of brokers.To believe it or not, of course it's all up to you.

i created an account with starfishfx, but im not sure if they are reliable. does anyone know if this brokerage is reliable? or how i can go about finding out?

Where is there HQ? who are they regulated by? What is their history? these are the question you need to answer to find out how reliable a brøker is... Also, other members can't delete your post...

my post keeps being deleted by moderator for some reason i dont understand why. maybe cos it sounded like i was advertising.

How do i go about finding out those items you mentioned? like is there a site i can check and all?

All businesses want to take your money. This is called capitalism. There are br0kers who want to serve their clients, and there are br0kers who want to rob their clients. It's actually pretty easy to determine, to which group does your current br0ker belong to.

Br0kers do have a dilemma these days.

a) If you offer 50% bonuses, you can grab a pretty nice group of sheeple to rob. You can make a nice profit short term, but there will be no future for you in the long term as the sheeple who survive will discover all your tricks and leave.

b) On the other hand, if your br0ker acts responsibly, provides a good service (but no 50% bonuses) it will have difficult times attracting enough clients to become profitable, initially. But if it survives, then long-term it will wipe out most of the guys from group A.

c) There is also a third group, though. Here we have the br0kers that used to belong to group A, but they robed and slaughtered enough sheeple, and made enough money to make their owners satisfied, and then decided to become honest (do the FSA license for example). Of course, these sheeple who survived from the initial slaughter, will remember the faces and voices of the guys who slaughtered their sheeple-buddies.

I agree with you.

I also recommend always big br0kers, the bigger is a br0ker, the more reliable, because it has more novice traders to "steal" their money (taking the opposite side of their trades), and they have more margin to pay your profits (if you are one of the 5% of profitable traders), but truly truly reliable? No one...

What forex br0kers are bigger enough to pay you profits without going bankruptcy? Oanda, FXCM...

Big doesn't necesserily mean safe and reliable. Remember MF Global? And there were others before MFG that went bust aswell - most people just don't remember this anymore.

For example I was a client of US futures br0ker Lind Waldock for years. It was a small house, but provided excellent service. When they were taken over by MFG I decided to leave.

Out of current big br0kers I would probably choose Oanda, if big is your only criteria. But I've been also with them and have now gone. There are no ideal br0kers, with any br0ker you choose you have to make some adjustments.
