Good day coders,if some good soul can help me,it would be much apreciated.Following are the instructions:

The Metatrader indicator I’m looking for is a modified Envelopes which automatically sets its Deviation parameter according to the changes in volatility(measured by the ATR indicator).
This automatic adaptation must be dependent on a “Deviation/ATR ratio” which has to be customizable by the user. If,for instance, this ratio is set to 1.5,the difference between upper and lower envelope(which is a derivative of the Envelopes Deviation setting)must be equal to 1.5 times the ATR.
Consequently,the customizable parameters will be:
- Envelopes Ma period
- Envelopes Ma mode(0=simple,1=exponential)
- ATR period
- Deviation / ATR ratio

See attached jpeg file as visual example.

Thanks.

It is always interesting to read some requests here.

They are very unprecise, leave a lot of room for interpretation and
when a coder devotes his precious time, he is getting such a strange
answer, again not telling why it isn´t what you need and what exactly it is what you wish to get for free.

Consequently,the customizable parameters will be:

Based on your description I would think what fxtr51 coded for you would be close.

But as you said its not what you need.
So apparently your description is too vague.

As FxTr51 and cyber1 have told you the description is not exactly helpful.
I tried to help but was given a somewhat -ve response so gave up there!!!

From your last pic it appears all that you want is a band that is 2 x Atr wide.

No longer interested!!

No problem,I can understand your point of view.Regarding my supposed messy explanations,I must say that I requested a quote from 5 professional coders websites, and all of them provided a quote without questioning the clearness of my explanations.I accepted the cheapest quote(29$),as soon as I'll get the indicator I'll post it,in the case somebody is interested.

You could have had it on here for free!

It was not the explanation that was the problem.
It was the -ve response after I tried to help!

Sorry futurespec,I apologize and I thank you anyway for the time you spent on this issue. The fact is that I'm pretty busy in these days, being my father hospitalized as oncological inmate.

Np, Merlin.

As a point of interest if you put the indi that you have uploaded onto the same chart as my indi and set my indi to the same settings for prd, matype, dev etc then there is v little difference between the 2.

Anyway, good luck.

First I wish all the best for your father.

About professional coders:
I made an experience with 1, maybe it is the absolute exception but
I got a quote for an EA.
I provided detailed explanations with screenshots and every conceivable
description to avoid misunderstandings.
I paid $300 and the EA should have been delivered within 2 weeks.

But unfortunately the coder didn´t read my description good enough , so the EA didn´t do what it should. It went back and forth many weeks.
I think it took about 3 months until I got a version which finally did what it should.

Just came to my mind when I read "all of them provided a quote without questioning the clearness of my explanations. "

Regards
