Best broker and trading platform?

Different brokers having different software support system... Who is the best trading system and trading broker for forex? Express your suggestion!

I spent hrs looking and comparing some brokers and I don't know which one is best for you but these website helped me a lot.

The first three got option to sort by spread difference, min deposit etc
I find them very helpful.

right now I am using nub friendly broker, etoro. Only problem is 3-4 spread the rest are working fine.

There are a few things I look in for a Forex Broker: Trust, integrity, reliability and Company size. Regulation is important and the country they are regulated is even important. If the Forex Broker Company is quoted on a Stock Exchange and their financials are public and audited that would also be important to me.

One of the things I would like to have in those forex brokers comparison lists is the number of customers, number of trades in a year and total trading volume in dollars.

So, having all those forex brokers comparison lists does anyone have the information regarding 1) number of forex trading customers; 2) forex trading volume (in total trades and total $ volume); 3) if they are listed on a Stock Exchange or not?

I have found that the forexfactory is also holding the different brokers system... This is also be the best broker review system... I think forexfactory also sound well to get good broker!

I need the difference among the broker and the MT4 platform... Can you explain further about the purpose of the MT4 in forex trade! Difference among software and MT...

As a Newbie starting out in Fx it is all very bewildering, and so I would be interested in your thoughts on my current thinking.

1 .... Intially everything is a variable and so I will need to start nailing down my choices one by one and at anytime I can change these choices as I learn.
Since the biggest investment of my time will be learning Fx through a platform then should I start with MT4?

2.... If MT4 is the best and most flexible choice, then any Broker offering this platform and a sim account will get me going, but I imagine that Experienced Members could offer better guidance than this, but my line of thinking is just to get started with a platform that is popular amongst Brokers

I really can't see much point in worrying about spreads, comms, cashbacks, withdrawals etc until I come to grips with the basics.

There is no best for all. There is a best for me and a best for someone else. For a newbie trader I'd say sticking with the usual MT4 or MT5 isn't a bad decision. It's a simple to use platform, supported by almost every broker and widely documented.
Having said that, I don't trade on it anymore due to a number of reasons, mostly based on architectural flaws/shortcomings of that software BUT these flaws are strongly related to my personal very special use case.
As a rule of thumb I'd say: If you're not a former software developer MT4/5 is probably ok for you. If you've experience in Java you might want to have a look at JForex, if C# is your thing there is MultiCharts.Net or cTrader.

I don't know if there is the ideal broker, but I trade on fibogroup and can't say smth bad. I have a fixed account with fixed spread (only 2 points for my pairs). the withdrawal is easy and without any problems

Best trading platform: Sierra Charts

I use the same (lmax + Sierra). I think its a good combination for shortterm manual trading. And i agree on IB too, it would be my second choice.

Can I ask you about what exactly are the preferences that makes you so glad of using brokers and platform you use? Once again it depends on what you want out of a platform.

The retail market is maturing and the amounts are getting larger.

MT4 may not cut it for some traders.

Select liquidity pools need to be offered to the trader.
