Do all brokers charge for withdrawals?

Just been charged £10 by Oanda for withdrawing some money from the account - do they all do this?

Fee charges on every withdrawals is as per the Broker's fund withdrawal rules which can be check or confirm in the agreement before opening live account with any broker.

Oanda is free for cheque withdrawal for me... that is, the first request per month is free. That's what I use.

Outside of that, anytime you need to wire money out of an account, there's usually a fee since the bank that does the wire charges for the service.

I withdrew money last month and wasn't charged, is there really a charge for withdrawals or is this different from country to country?

They will charge you $20 when you withdraw through Wire Transfer and $15 for withdrawal through Credit Card/ PayPal. The first withdrawal through CC/PayPal is free.

IB offers one free withdrawal per month, any format (cheque/wire/ACH). They're the only shop I know of that offers a free wire. Several others offer free cheque withdrawals.

The withdrawl charges varies from one broker to the other, some offer free e-checks, where as others offer one free wire transfer/month or two weeks. And of course, you can opt to use PP or MB since most brokers provide this option in addition to the usual. Just remember, direct transfer to CC is not free and can cost a lot..

Lmax doesn't charge a fee for withdrawls with bank transfers. Not sure about creditcards, but i assume that the card company has some fees on that.

Transfer funds to CC only if you need it right away, since both the broker and CC will levy charges for the transaction..

some payment methods does not charge,
but if international wire transfer, it is a must

if you have a big account most brokers waive the wire fee, some brokers offer free ach transfer for free

My broker charges $0.6 for $550 withdrawal. Can we consider this is free?
