I know this is not a forex chart but the chart of the straits times index (basket of stocks on the Singapore Exchange) but the concept is the same.

Based on the thread of price is everything, on of the easiest way to track price is through moving averages. Trade with the trend and take note of the support and resistance levels.

Please don't apologise for posting an index. We have massive love/hate relationships with a number of them, and they're always on our minds.

You may see some moving averages around here, and insulting them may be akin to dismissing their users' religion ( I don't know, I haven't dared to try), but I'd certainly be wary of using them as anything more than a confluence tool.

Regarding using them to spot a trend - well, that's been covered lately

maybe what i did was quite mean. with all du respect i think the thread is about price but u did mention a good idea of sup/res earlier classic trade btw

but if any indi i cant put up with its MAs. i cant get my head around them, theyre not my thing they dont help me they put me one step backwards

i can do oscillators just for divergence but that too can put u back from viewing the chart
after all thats key right?

the talk should stop at market open btw too lol

Let's take a look at the first Supply/Demand Zone first. A Hidden Gap involves the interval immediately prior to the WRB and the interval immediately after the WRB. If said intervals do not share even a tick (pip) within each other's range, then we have a Hidden Gap. So the dark blue lines represent the Hidden Gap in the first Zone.

On the next Zone the actual Hidden Gap would be the area from the black line to the lower pink line. This would actually result in three lines-the two pink lines and one purple (which you went over in black). I like to have four line to help recognize where a Zone ends and another begins when they are both the same color.

This is okay since the actual Hidden Gap is used to help determine if a Zone exists but once a Zone is established, I am concerned with the entire Zone and not simply the Hidden Gap portion of the Zone.

So as to your question, is this still a hidden gap? The answer would be yes. Once a Hidden Gap Always a Hidden Gap. The question should be is it filled? In this case the answer is no it has not yet been filled.

The third area where you have asked, "Not a hidden gap?" is in fact a Hidden Gap.

All WRB Hidden Gaps represent a change in the Supply/Demand dynamic in the market. Yet, not all WRB Hidden Gaps represent Key Changes in the Supply/Demand dynamic. Only those that are Key Changes become Supply/Demand Delta Zones.

Hello, I have one question, when I have started S/D zones study, I have learned to put S/D zones on bigger TF (for example 1h) and search setups on lower TF (for example 5m or15m). Now when I read this tread I see that most of you (orbital, ken lee) paint S/D zones only on one (30m) chart. I find also some strange for me, s/d zones on 4h chart and setup / TP on 1m TF ... Can somebody write me a few words in this topic ?

PS. I have read BS Trading with KL.
