here's a couple of GY charts as well.

I wanted to share something about divergence that some people may not be aware of.

using a faster oscillator for intraday (RSI 6 is good) on the daily chart there was reverse divergence forming from Feb 27 to Mar. 12 which signaled the 200 pip topside break out on the 13th. (red lines)

this was operating inside the standard divergence which is singling a longer term drop off resistance. (yellow lines)

this type of divergence typically work out well, so is a handy thing to keep in your tool box.

Very nice chart, btw. Hidden bearish divergence on your monthly chart. I didn't notice before. Once the previous support gives, I would be more comfy shorting it. Thanks.

In the weekend coming up the pretty difficult task to try to figure out where GJ wants to take us.
And how much room we have to the upside.

Any analysis from you guys is of course welcome.

There's been an ongoing chat about it here. The discussion has centred around possible top out points. UJ seems to want to go back up, having formed a continuation pattern. Question is, how far? GU still seems bullish, although it seems to be held up at the weekly pivot area.

Top of a current TL appears to be 132.7. Break that, 133.3. Break that 134.8. Daily 800sma is at 135.9

I will not exclude anything when it comes to the top side. I've been surprised many times in the last few weeks but not anymore, even if we go to 1.40. (Okay, beyond that I will be surprised again)

Still expecting 133 ish top out this time. It's slowing down, approaching the top of a major channel and several trendlines converge in the same area. Although my final target/expection after a retracement is 144. Then 110~105 maybe 100 with the end probably coming in a crash.

Last year, this pattern was discussed at length by Guicci and myself on this forum. Until proven otherwise, I stick to what is said: This is I wrote elsewhere today.


I'm seeing channel top (as well as I can draw it) at 133.2. Obviously lower next week. Am half expecting the channel will break, if only by a few pips, thereby indicating that it has probably lost its major significance.

Then a retracement by 38% ~50% of the channel, which would equate to a 50% ~ 61.8 retracement of the total upmove so far from 117.3.

At about that point, GJ meets the descending (already tested) trendline 163~140. If the TL holds again, that will lend support to the idea that this whole move has only been a wave 1,2 and 3 and, I think, finally confirm an idea that was discussed on another FF thread last year. That being .. GJ is now in the last wave of a 5 wave expanding triangle ( one of its favourite patterns) and will top out around 144 before a massive and final drop into the 100 area to finally complete its whole move down from 251.

So far, all normal triangle parameters are being met - Wave b was messy and confused. Wave c was a fast intervention style wave ( in fact a true G7 intervention), wave d wasn't messy but it was more corrective in nature and wave e is most impulsive.

I don't do the "Wave Thing" but I sure will look into it this year

Even if people aren't into waves as such, just following chart patterns can be very useful - if you're actually following the right pattern
