I am here everyday but I dont take the time to post my charts anymore. The reason is that I consider the system is very simple to master, and as I trade it on 5mn charts I have to check my charts all the time on 3 pairs (€/$, GBP/USD, and USD/CHF). But the system is profitable for me, more on some months than other, but on the long term it can give you a nice profit each month.
Do not give up, be disciplined, think like a robot and you will get your money, believe me. All is about discipline and psychology !!!

Hello Dragon.

It is a real no trade zone fro me on the right of your chart. As you can see the spread of your channel is going very narrow and it is confirmed by your DMI lines which are very narrow too. It means low volatility. So you have to be patient and wait for a new trend to develop. Because you can be sure that after a low volatility cycle a high volatility period will come.

I advise you to put pivot levels too because it is important support/resistance level on intraday. It can really improve your results.

I put this chart to show you that indicators are not the most important ! The most important thing is to understand the philosophy of the system (selling rallies in a downtrend / buying pullbacks in an uptrend) and then you can work with the indicators you feel the more confortable with to confirm you the 2 essential things : the trend / the momentum.

So you can use DMI / Stochatics or even MACD / RSI it doesnt matter a lot ! It tells you the same thing as it is driven by price action. Do not underestimate the power of PP levels too !!! And when there is confluence between many indicators you are in a very safe trade !!!

Hello everyone,

Due to a new job, and working during London hours - I am currently looking for a new system to trade towards the end of the US session and during the Asian session.

I have beeen trading for about 2 years, returning about 5% per month using a similar method of price action at support/resistance.

This system looks very interesting and I would like to give it a go.

Has anyone tried trading this method during US session to Asian session (7-11pm GMT)? If so, does it work in the same way as the London session.

Also, does anyone trade primarily from 15m charts? I find this to be the most comfortable for me - especially when trading forex. Does the system work fine on 15m?

It works the same during all sessions and time frames - its just a method of viewing a trend, and trading pullbacks in that trend. Flip on a daily chart real quick and you'll see how smooth the ride down was from November to January. You can certainly use 15 minute charts but you'll just use bigger stops and should probably aim for bigger targets. I started using this on a 1 minute a long time ago, but have since started using it primarily on a 5 minute chart with a smaller time frame (tick) chart for entries.

The only thing about the Asian session, is often moves won't really get going... its moves very slowly and is hard for me to trade, but the same principles still apply.
