Didn't have that TL, but I do now... nice confluence with the weekly supply zone.

Have a great trading week!

Watching UJ and would like to see the breaking of the m5 channel trendline for a short confirmation now. There are signs of selling so keep your eyes peeled!

Currently consolidating between 83.57-83.83 so you have several options on a play here.

Geppy is ranging between 130.95- 131.47. JPY is oversold and quite a distance from its mean, so it adds to the probability. My preference is UJ as weekly supply is clearer.

Houston... we have a break of the m5 on UJ. Short on a tl retest or a break of 83.56 with SL above the high of 83.83. Let's see some sellers!

"Watching UJ" . You're starting to sound like a well known ex Finance Minister/ now PM.

First UJ. Yes, it has hit the TL (just). But there is also an option barrier at 84.00. Price should at least try to break through for that. Additionally, it's forming a (small) continuation triangle at the top right now.

GJ. It broke through all expected resistances. It has been forming a crude triangle at the top for some hours (I'm up for the morning now - it started before I went to bed). While most TFs look stretched on the stochastic etc, they have each been losing their extreme overbought status in the triangle. ( Yen strength indicator is a marvelous toy).

Should PoundYen continue up, the current top of channel is 134.2 ish. With this entire upmove being referred to as wave C (wave A topped at 127.3 with the intervention), that 134.25 figure also coincides with wave C = wave A x 1.618.

.. and it may be GU that takes GJ up this time. Yesterday's move was actual Japanese buying of GJ itself.

I have, for a while, suspected GU has been in an expanding triangle since 8th or so of Feb and only a short time ago I noticed that someone else has the same opinion ... the next leg up of the GU triangle may well be about to start - IF it is, infact, a triangle.

cheers mate.

here's the daily view of the monthly chart I posted earlier (updated).

played out nicely with the convergence on the channel UTL. now if they don't monkey it up with news today, below minor support at 82.6, 82 is the logical pullback target.

if we break back above the UTL then 84.7 WR3 is the next intraday target topside.

here's a couple of GY charts as well.

I wanted to share something about divergence that some people may not be aware of.

using a faster oscillator for intraday (RSI 6 is good) on the daily chart there was reverse divergence forming from Feb 27 to Mar. 12 which signaled the 200 pip topside break out on the 13th. (red lines)

this was operating inside the standard divergence which is singling a longer term drop off resistance. (yellow lines)

this type of divergence typically work out well, so is a handy thing to keep in your tool box.

you can read more about it here. (fig. 5 page 3)

Next week I'm going to dramatically increase my Geppy trades and will post my findings at the gj forum.
Even with the limited resources I had and still have this week (being in hospital, under influence of heavy drugs, working from my laptop in stead of my home computer with several nice big screens) I still could pull out 3% this week up till now and this is for a great part thanks to GJ.

As I see it right now, failure to break the 131.7 high, or a drop back below the 130.2 recent low may indicate that, not only is GJ reversing, but it's forming a head in a large H&S formation. If correct, head top 131.7, major left shoulder 129.7 ~130.

I don't normally trust H&S patterns, but at least you've got to consider them

Thanks PK and Mpt, won't trade much anymore this week and tomorrow have to kiss all the nurses goodbye. They were GREAT for the full 10 days!
I will miss them badly.
