Is live history data usually better than demo data? My demo account data seems to be showing a lot of holes.

Also wondering about daylight saving time settings. Alpari UK seems to use DST whereas FXCM don't. This presents a lot of issues as different countries use different times to adjust for DST

Hi FrinkFX,

Having times in Central European Time [CET: that is GMT/BST (UK time) +1 hour] avoids having small candlesticks on Sundays. Consequently, this allows the running of technical analysis and backtesting to be more straightforward.

CET has summer and winter time, which usually changes on the last Sunday of March and on the last Sunday of October respectively.
