looks like EUR/CAD has divergence between MACD and MA, might be a considerable trading to open small lot sell this pair at 1.4250 with 160 pips stop and 700 pips target profit

I decide to close this pair now. I am not going to long it but will wait for the next mid-term movement and will post my plan when it comes out.

I'll try to revive this thread.

OK. I am preparing for going SHORT on EURCAD.
A congestion of two Fibbo levels, psycho 1.4000 level and previous support/resistance makes me want to give it a try…
So I am waiting till price hits 1.4000 zone to go SHORT.
Target at next Fibo congestion @ 1.3750
Nice 250 pips to grab if scenario fulfils.

ha ha, yeap, price still walking around my STOP LOSS, nearly touched it..
I am watching USDCAD now and I think this trade is lost.
Though I will endup on breakeven, as I locked up half of my profits yesterday.

I'd like to know your opinions about EURCAD, I sold yesterday at 1.3980 and this is not looking good!

For me it looks slightly BEARISH... though markets are waiting for any impulse.
I'd keep it till THURSDAY, with SL above 1.4100
You may use also some lock-in-profits techniques if you are in any.
I know it's tough to break 1.4000 so far.... and you sold it at worst possible moment

Just one more thing if it makes you feel bit better
I am waiting now for a good SHORT entry point at around 1.4050 and looking ahead for my target at 1.38500... or even further 1.37500
But I'll see how things develop during the day....

Thanks for your comment! I think I'll close the position now since MACD seems to be changing the trend, and I'll consider selling again around 4050

Have a close look on 1.15pm news coming from CANADA.
I think that will be THE IMPULSE, whether bearish scenario will be confirmed or denied.
Good News from CANADA will be good for bears...

Yes, you are right... i had a short at 1.4045 for almost 4 days and it always swing between 1.4000 to 1.4080...
There are a lot times when it drops to around 4000 i was thinking about to close but then i told myself to hold it for a long-term trade and then it back and forth.. when it back to 1.4080 i was thinking about to add another short but again i told myself dont risk wait for it clear 1.3950 then add more so it is kind of annoying.

same here im wating for 1.40 to give in and to close below 39,all day wasted for nothing,this thing isnt giving in,as when the 1.40 breaks and closes below, it opens up the path to the 1.3850,otherwise a close above 1.480 might change plans for a week or two.

Hi to all. E/C - a nice pair to trade.
The position has been opened on December the 12th, 2011 using one of the range templates. Half has been closed at the end of the trading day. The rest left running with SL at +1. TP at 1.3508 reached the next trading day.
Total profit: 2.9% with a 1/2.9 RR.

And here we are at the 4hrs broadening pattern breakout target (target was 1.3385, where the price is exactly know): on top it was the 62% adition of the full vertical distance of the "megaphone".

Added a channel from the previous analysis.

Pattern complete. Where to know? Back to the new channel? Or using its upper trendline as support?
