Two Lines and a Chart

Okay, it seems to me that the last bar may have given us the start of a range. Until something tells me different, I will be playing this range long. (Since I have no primary trade opened for this pair at all, I may just wait but, I am starting to get in the rhythm a little, so I may just start here with some smaller than usually lots. Normally I would have already opened a primary trade before I would have reached any range play.

I am opening up two orders with risk between the two of them = to that of one trade, and only putting a TP on one of the trade.

I was doing right and I had my primary and was playing the range. Then, the last run up did not make it to the upper range BUT I THOUGHT and I should not have. Because I did not reach the upper range, I should have closed my trades as in the gbpjpy trade later. But, I was nervous and excited for actually getting to some point where I had a game plan. But, that is why I am still with smile money. Once I can get rid of these feelings, than I will be able to react to the market with no barriers.

So, I should have been able to close as my short entry would have triggered while not losing all my long pips. There might have been 10 or 20 there to bank, but the amount is not important. What is important is that I did not react to the market without emotion.

I may play around with letting price try to get a bit higher, but as of now, I am back in short term downtrend trading. So, I want to get out of my longs with as little damage as possible and get into a prmary short trade which should have happened about 50 pips ago. Maybe she will be nice, and show some mercy on me and give me another shot to get them back.

Anyone else think that?

Plus my MM was not figured right when I started this whole thing and I am in for way too much risk on top of it all.

"Just a few pips my lady. Can't you just return a few of them pips to me so that I may get a fresh start again at trying to take all of yours?"

Today took the wind out of my sales with realizing how off my lot sizes were figured, after I awoke down as much as I was because of that. I was really excited as well. So all of a sudden I was thinking about how to exit the market, save a balance and get a good start to my demoing again, which are just the opposite things I should be thinking about. So, I think it is time to call it a 3 day weekend.

Okay, it ia time to get back for some more fun! I am going to run my trade now more as a system, but more as individual trades that I read and determine whether or not I should take them or not. Over the years I have accumulated a lot of knowledge, and I believe that I have caught up to the markets. I mean, I no longer have to look backwards to see what would have worked. I can see in real time price action how I could have used my trading knowledge to make winning trades.

I am not going to worry to much about ny trade manager at the moment, as my biggest obstacle is entering the market and taking winning trades and having proper TP levels with SL levels. without trying to worry about my bottom line at this point in time.

For now, I will be looking at three different trade set-ups, and not worring about getting in the market at th eearliest possible swing moment.
