Can anyone code the indicator (alert4u) so that it can also alert after a given amount of pips. Currently the indicator can alert before a given amount of pips. I think it would be better if we can have it also alert after the trigger at a given amount of pips. I believe this can help to reduce some fake entries.

Charlie, I wonder if in the alert there is a way to have the fib level from which was triggered?

The Alerter EA has been updated slightly. It's now an indicator and has a nifty little label displayed in upper right corner of chart identifying which types of alerts are active.

Nothing wrong with the old version, keep using it if it works for you.
Is your alerter still working?
If so what exactly do I have to do to get it working?
I am not anywhere near as good at programming as you so I would appreciate if you could keep it simple.

Thank you for your indicator. But I still do not know how to make the Triangle (Horizontal & Trendline) automatically on my MT4 main chart window. Do you have another indicator like that, or do I missed something to make it works ?

Fantastic Indicator, very useful

Only thing is that the writing in the top right corner saying it is 'on' seems to be yellow by default here with no option to change it. Looks great on dark background but nigh invisible certainly illegible on white background.

Regardless what color I change it to in settings it remains yellow for some reason. Anyone else experience that?

Only other thing, I'd like to chime in with a previous poster, it would be nice to change the audio to distinguish it from all the other mt4 sounds to make it easier identifiable...

Familiar with MetaEditor ?

Right click on Alerter in the Custom Indicator list, choose Modify, scroll down to the Settings as shown, change to color of choice, click Compile, if chart is open at same time, you will see the effect immediately, good luck

I have no real knowledge of coding but can modify an indicator within reason.

I am wondering why the indicator refuses to alert in MT4 build 409.

Are we supposed to setup the indicator in the modificationm to stipulate which alerts we want, I mean TL, Horizontal lines etc.

Also, has the rectangle alert been taken out?

Have you been able to use it successfully on a Horizontal line yet?

That is all I have used it on so far, you must include " Alert_## " in the Description, as shown in these pictures, where ## is Pips away for signal, do not have to go into code for that.

I even use the Email function, works great !!!

Works with a rectangle, TL or Horizontal line.

The problem is, once it gets hit, you have to retype the description again.

I think I prefer the EXE of Alerter4U as you don't have to trpe in the description, it does Fibo, Rectangles, TL & Horizontal lines.

Will it work if it is applied on the indicators windows (I try to have an alert when some indies cross the 0 line...)
