may i ask about your 4th chart. although price moved violently there it didnt exactly gap. of course as you say it happens, but what is the driving force behind filling these?
question is for you or anyone who want to answer of course.

Hi all, dont get much time to post at the moment, bit of a shake up at work, hopefully it will settle down again soon.

Anyway I was going to post this yesterday but wasn't able to.

Check out how price was clearing the path North during the downmove. Each spike, marked blue, was taking out orders above easing the way for a big move North to 3150, as Red would say, Price thinking ahead. Pretty random huh.

I bailed at 3055 though, hoping to reload after a retrace, didn't happen though.

ADD: different types of gaps (image previously extracted from video).

ADD 2: I'm a chatty fucker. Red's 'poles' are the gaps or 'hidden gaps' and the flags are the consumption of the pole/gap. Happens on all TFs. Just saying stuff you already know probably.

yes i have seen this video, but i dont remember it, so thanks for posting again. my brain is full of gaps too.
probably you are right about the /poles are full of smaller gaps/ thing, since price moved violently and even if they dont show up on the feed they are there. i have heard somewhere thats its the brokers that need to fill these. because the fast moving price has left them with open positions (they hedge the clients positions) and they are in a loss till these are filled... or something along these lines. maybe someone can fill us in on that too.

nice triplex supply touch on the news earlier for AU EU GU (just watching these 3), i hope you guys caught it.

Nice explanation.

Thoughts on swiss gaps. These gaps are on many pairs. Swiss as example.
