I don't think he lost interest, with 18,000 posts he put a lot of his life into this thread and I know other life events have taken priority - he's moved country and is getting married later this year.

Yep, not seen Intel over on the VSA forum either which is a shame - hope hes OK.

I recommend people sign up to this forum and post. You'll probably get quicker answers there to any questions you may have. Even sign up if you're a pro, we can all learn something!

Hi all. It is also in hindsight but, as I say, it is well worth to see it again and again so we can train our brains in recognize the action in real time. These patterns do happens every day, over and over.

Yesterday we had a nice move up in euro.
Smart money gave us early hints about what they was thinking to do.
At A is around London open, and shows high volume with the next bar up, almost a bullish engulfing pattern. Also, look at the demand tails.
At B, we had the same behavior. High volume in the down bar but the next bar is up. Here it was a bullish engulfing pattern. These 2 actions alone was enough to show their intentions. And if you remember that we had strong news later, things start to fit together(manipulation).
C is a nice shake out, low volume down bar into previous high volume area. Note the demand tail there. It was a pretty stop loss hunting = liquidity hunting. It was very near the news release as well.
Next, a high volume up bar being immediately tested.

Isn't it beautiful?

Which mt4 has the most accurate volume do you think? been using fxpro but i remember one broker had a feed from 10 banks...or should i say i can`t remember.

Guys,

I've been studying my VSA signals and I keep coming back to testing. I just don't understand testing. Lets say we have a down move that ends with stopping volume and moves into a sideways range. Now price moves back down into the area of the original stopping volume and we have a low volume test on an up bar. How is this an indication of strength?

In my mind it seems like we would want medium or high volume. Lower prices attracts buyerss and we want to know that the buyers are present. Smart money doesn't have sell orders down there, they have them somewhere above the trading range.

One of the beauties of VSA is that supply and demand should be logical. Low volume tests just don't seem logical to me.
