exactly - we have to determine if that last bounce down removed willing supply.

if we cut through supply, i will look to buy the pullback to new demand level...

It was losing steam so I bailed.

2 possibillities.....

A friend drew my attention to EA as it moves fairly smoothly.
This is my 1st trade of this instrument.

1st bounce.
By the time I finished capturing the image we got the 2nd touch and break through minor support.

Out 1/2 and moved STP to BE+1.

Matching SD zones in EA and AU.

A better chart.
Time frames did not match in the previous one.

Out remainder @ BE+3

Off to watch a movie.

My stop was too close.

Moves in AU and EU are greater than any other pair (now)
EJ and GJ used to be in that position a while back. Now they are more sedate.

That's why you use a stop loss at a limit % of your account. No large loss if you use MM.

I don't know what is news time or not any more, keep seeing same price structures over and over.. with a few exceptions.

I was just trying to make the point that news and sd coincide most of the time and one can mostly ignore news because..... price is everything.

I have been waiting to short this one, now did I get the top of a new swing yet.... I don't think so as stock indices generally take more time to turn compared to currencies. Time will tell, but I am now looking at the bigger picture.



Seeing the posts between Gabe2004 and Tyoon, I also want to discuss news and my take on it in a post in the PIE chat room. Price is everything that is true, but what drives price... supply and demand, what drives supply and demand... order flow, what drives order flow... I will let you think about the rest.

Also Tom has written a good post on news which you can read here and I will expand on it. The type of trader you are also changes how one views news, i.e. a scalper/day trader or swing/position trader.

If you haven't worked it out by now, I am the latter and very occasionally the former, but the analysis and method of trading is no different, just different parameters.

P.S. I haven't forgot your analysis on one of your charts DO.

P.P.S. Has anyone noticed how the tone has changed on Greece in the last 48 hours?

Thought about taking the same trade but didn't liked the bearish engulfing whipsaw and the bad r:r ratio.

confluence of h4 demand, trendline, 50 fib and weekly pivot, if u consider it... and hence the bounce
