The way I see it is that either the 100 sma on the 4 hour charts is going to act as support or it isn't. On the daily charts it looks ready for a move down but we can't tell either way. Either the 100 sma will break on the daily or it will break on the 4 hour, either way we will have a better idea of the direction, either the 4 hour uptrend will continue and the daily trend is turning to bullish or the daily 100 sma will act as resistance and the 4 hour sma will break and we are bearish on both charts.

We are at a decision point here and there's no way to safely guess it so best to watch and wait. Once the direction is confirmed one way or the other then we can trade. Daily looks bearish, 4 hour could easily turn bullish, both can't be right!

i see an opportunity buy for eu n gu.... only missing point is trend on H4 not clear....

hurmmm.... might consider to enter with very small lot...

Two questions for you mate....correct me if I am wrong but I think I noticed you in the TMS thread...just wondering if you have tried the TDI with this method and how it went?? also....did you get anywhere with renko charts??

i see buy setup at gu n eu..
gu buy stop at 1.5740...
eu buy stop at 1.3178...

enter with very small lot...
if price hit +25... will move sl to +1...

any comment are welcome...

May I know how do you choose which to trade then? I ask because Daily Heiken bar is already red would you already put a pending sell order already?

Now this is strange.. my Heiken bar did not turn green on 4H chart for both pairs to go long.. perhaps different broker...

Trading with smaller lots on trades you are less sure about is always an option.

Hi mate, I've definitely read the thread but not sure I ever posted? I never got on with the tdi, prefer stochs.

Renko charts had to go on the back burner for a bit as I have a few other projects in the pipeline.

The plain answer is that you trade neither. The system works nicely in trending markets and lots of people seem to prefer trading 4 hour charts so the answer is to wait until the daily turn is confirmed by the 4 hour crossing the 100 sma and starting to trend in the direction that the daily suggests OR the 4 hour continues up and it breaks the 100 sma on the daily.

Just discovered this thread yesterday, very easy to understand. Took 2 trades at midnight local time (-6gmt): E/J - buy @ 102.58, + 47 pips; E/A - buy @ 1.2318, closed with a -29 pips (very flat trend when entering and stayed that way.) Both on 4H charts. Thanks all, I hope to be a good contributer here and just have to learn how to post charts with comments.
