Hourly chart looks as if they got the job of breaking
that 79.60 level done,at least for a while,78.60 looks like the next stop,
i think that should give us 3250ish on Fiber.

looking @ USDOLLAR index lately, appr. same conclusion although I think 1.1350 - 1.3200 would fit better:

Yea your probably right mate,3200 looks about right
but i always like to think about the over shoot,

Not taken any action yet , usdx developement over the last limit bull still in place . 79.57+63 breaks up may give positive indication for bull or correction up , otherwise 79.23 still very suseptible breaks before the same .

I believe 79.25 is the 38% retracement of last upmove on daily chart....but looks like it will break and find support at 78.2 which is a firm support.
Euro likely to go to 1.3280 and then retrace.

ok and smaller pullback /ranging in the course also fine . 79.57+8 not broken to confirm this present pullback , otherwise fall to 79.00 or bottom before the same again and before further tanking .

With DX making a low of 78.82 and Fiber making a high
of .3232 things played out well,looking for DX to go a little lower
and then bounce a bit but after that i would think that
DX will go even lower.got something around 77.20.
Time will tell.

USDX already penetrated 79-79.71 support zone. The reversal looks like a V-shape reversal. To have a sustainable downtrend, in theory, USDX needs to form a resistance level or consolidate for a while.


The next support zone will be 77.92-78.11.

USDX currently 0.42% retrace from the Low (Oct 27) to High ( Jan 13 ) ,

I expect it will retrace till 0.707% - 0.786% in coming weeks to find strong support .... From the daily chart ..... It will more accurate goes to 0.707% retracement ... which is Oct 4 - Jan 13 extension 1.414... I think 0.707% will find a very good support for USDX..... 0.707 ratio is the reciprocal of 1.414, the diagonal of a square in Fibonacci number .

So DX opened a little lower "pink arrow"and bounced as i thought but i
was looking for a slightly lower test before yesterdays run up.
We are back down here testing that level again,only a matter
of time before it breaks i think,end of month flows today so
anything could happen.

here's my outlook on the dollar index. There's too much speculation that the dollar will head south so I'm sidelined until I see some real movement

Still in that range,still looking for the Dollar to break lower.
78.20 could be the next stop if we break.

4 hr chart,that rising pink line at the bottom of the range
says we might end up back at the top of the range,
Fiber looks soft so far today.
Looking for daily close below 79.10 to give it a chance to break lower,
that number might even hold the up move,
NFP tomorrow so not much trading for me today.

In the weekly chart, this week candle is a spinning top which represents indecision. From the daily chart, the current support level is 78.62 and the current resistance level is 79.57. Both levels are derived from master candle pattern. Our concern is whether USDX will continue to be bearish or reverse to north. Honestly, as of now, I don’t see solid technical indication for this, even if USD has sound NFP and employment rate. I think we have to wait for next week.

Just need to make myself a bit clearer,
buying dips on Fiber when DX is around 79.10
for roughly 30 pip scalps.
