and im extremely bored. really bored. trading used to be fun and exciting . like ure on a rollercoaster. now its a drag.. or starting to be like it.
rollercoaster losing steam and power and speed.

I have been at this 10 years as you know. Being in Australia I wake up every day with many hours until my trading session starts. I play golf, I go for a surf (if there is any lol) but the whole while I can't wait to start trading. Trading should be fun, it is the puzzle of all puzzles. If it isn't fun then why are we here. i havent been even openign positions past 4 days.
just a kiwi short and a dow short.
it really used to be fun. i dont know man its weird... feels really .. dono boring.
is it because when u start to follow ur plan u start to get bored? i just written up myself a complete trading plan on powerpoint on rules i must follow - and i read it every day ever ssince today and i also have the traed management plans for the running trades and i need to write neew trades opened.. etc. etc.
i started doing this after my friend Mike - told me a plan is not a plan unless written and he did so on his live acc makes concisstnent 6% a month.
i dont know but maybe trading accordin to plan gets u bored LOL.. u dont feel anxiety... u dont get greedy u dont get all scared. u get bored.
darn it shoudlve ripped it up.

The LESS exciting it is ( in a right sense-dont get me wrong) the EASIER is to make the money, and that is a good thing. Forex trading is something that inspires me and i feel happy and good when im trading.
And you know....I feel good when Im helping others to make the money too

) As soon as I got bored of something I left. Life is to short to be stuck doing something you hate every day. If I ever get bored of trading I will be out of here before you can blink, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Don't get me wrong, there are days when I can't stand to even look at the charts, but that is the beauty of this business. If I don't feel like working then I take the day off. I'll tell you man, THIS IS THE LIFE

Good on you for writing up a serious plan, it is a must. My trading plan is highly discretionary and extremely short term. Really keeps me on my toes. That is how I like it though. I have had so many jobs in my life that you would not believe it being I am only 30 years old. From labourer to supermarket santa claus (sorry kids, we are just the helpers
i really want this to work out.. i guess i need to play my guitar more - and go out more. but i got so much study work to do and .. oh.. .

Exactly plan is a must!
And one more thing...Since trading generally requires a lot of sitting close to your PC, babysitting, analyzing etc....you need to take care of your body too.
Aerobic+Anaerobic exercises can help u maintain the focus and keep your body in a good shape.

yeah i do mornign jogs and occassionally swim - i used to do soccer and jiujitsu - but since study has been a drag - ..well i gotta study a lot lol.
but yeah for sure tradin shouldnt be addictive.
maybe i should be thankful that i am getting bored LOL.
