Does anybody know if theres a way (or an indicator?) to hide candles from your charts? So that you can eg. show only the candles from London open to London close on your charts.

None that I know of, do they really need to be hidden?

This vertical line is what I use to mark the sessions, works for me

And you could add this to make the London Session standout from the rest of the day.

Thanks. I havent thought of that one. Daily lines boxes just might do it. Would be better if the other candles could be hidden, but I may have to satisfy with this one.

Cannot imagine why you want to do this BUT....

You could modify the HeikenAshi Indi (or an equivalent)... which overpaints each candle... with the background colour for the hours that you do not want to see and then set the colours for the hours that you do want to the colours that you want. )if that makes sense).

Relatively easy to do but simply do not have the time.

Thanks for the idea. Have to check out if it could be possible. The idea to hide candles is to be able to see more clearly what happens eg. in successive London sessions and Asian/London or London/Ny overlaps, etc. For analysis & charting purposes.........demand & supply areas.......
Would they hold better when on a particular session or sessions overlapping period, etc... Just would be easier to see this way.

Whistlepips they way you could do what you want is to go into the properties of the chart and make the candles the same colour as the background. then use this indicator with a different colour than the background then then the candles will be visible, the downside is you won't be able to determine the diiference of bull and bearish candles.

the other way is to use this indicator as a mask of the hours you don't want to see, but you will need a coder to just adjust the code. instead of the box being in the background bring it to the foreground and that's it.

Thanks. Would be easiest if someone could code it. And I think would benefit many others also. Im not much of a coder myself so I dont have an idea how much work that would be. Doesnt necessarily require much if you just could paint the candles you want (and adjust the time as you please) with a similar colour than your chart background. Lets see if someone could do this....
