stops hunted clearly on this one - faded after the hunts finished.

since u love fibs i put up mine here - the 23 level is still quite the distance - and 1x1 line - the line that balances price and time is still quite the distance as well.

i saw the potential of this trade and i took it. lets hope it fruits into profit at desired targets

we'll take the updates day by day to help us out. swing trading is not just sit back and watch lol - i realized u need to still analyse intraday movements even if ur target isnt nessecarily reached intraday

ok cool bro - whats the cadchf correlation to say the major pairs?

i dont expect strong correlation - but is it ?
i never touch it and dont have it on main acc

Good question. Normally I just look at the related pairs, so for ca/ch I would take a look at cad or chf related pairs to give me a better idea of how a currency is doing overall.

Take a look at eu, gu, au, nu at the moment, all rising and us/ca, us/ch dropping. Tells me there is significant dollar weakness for now.

i can now confirm that the market sentiment in dow is more bearish with disssapointing US GDP release.

market orders hit - forecasters longs liquidated price drops.

based on cycle trading - the merc 90 saturn worked very well.

now the question is are there sell stops below the 2 day range we had around these levels?

hahaha,,....risk averse should rise... i hope we see euro now reverse to the south soon..haha

what do you make of the abnormal correlation between markets and USD? i.e. weak equity markets and strong EUR, GBP (and weak USD)?

money flow i guess... since the indexes are actual averages of companies - its not a currency. since the US companies are heavily depenedent on their own economic data - we can assume and conclude that the data released is easier interpreted with the dow jones or the nasdaq ..etc.


euro did drop at the news release sentiment changed but flicked at another change as well at some other thingy majigger i didnt check.

i think if US the world leader in economy has good data in such a time like this - its a risk on sentiment. if it sinks - traders assume that europe (EUR) shoudlnt be doing any better therefore it is risk off.

i may be assuming things wrong here - so correct me if im wrong Marq

well the way things have been going last year were generally buy the USD and sell the markets (USD safe haven flows) but somehow in the beginning of this year we have seen a rally in equities WHILE the USD was appreciating (and by default EUR, GBP were depreciating against the USD).

But for some reason the correlation has reversed now... in a down market (such as today), the USD should be strengthening.. instead it is doing the opposite.

nzdusd short am planning to hold for a swing as with the dow.

uranus is a very slow planet. but if u take the extreme low of a bullish rally on 03 03 2009 uranus was at 352 degrees on the chart. now if we look at its position recently - its at 2 degrees.

10 degrees difference with uranus is a cycle.
