I'm showing positions building with the weekly Trend
I wasn't able to add to aud on this demo account.. I wanted to but my sister-in-law was using my laptop. Anyway.
I BE on the larger positions, I will be taking profit on smaller postions if I see a daily close below prev up or down candle. The markeT overall is long now as you can see in the pitbull screen.

There should BE a retracement to the weekly open so I will add there for the Swap run. lets see what happens. Notice the cycle, we talked about, it took about 3 weeks for the original buys to go into profit...

Also my -ve DD is cycle now into profit...I started with -VE NOW +VE WITH THE TREND.

I just showing on DEMO but you have to do it to believe...

This is such a unique system and am enjoying it very much. I started learning to trade this system only last week. It is so interesting to see how the basket of pairs interact with one another rather than having a myopic view of one or two pairs. I opened a 10 pair basket this week instead of the 8, which I traded last week. With the 10 pairs i was able to close it out and reopen it twice today in profit. I prefer being able to squeeze ALL the juice out of the orange as last week i closed the basket every day with small loss. All the best!

Just a thought on your post. Apart from the basket trades... are you adding to the bottom two pairs? Just wondered. I use the basket for indication and increase the equity by adding trades and controling DD.

Courtney - yes I'm buying the bottom 1 or 2 (depending on movement) and also trading opposite the top 1 or 2. I really am enjoying less screen time and this has kept me in some of the larger moves. My first day trading this wasn't so great as I got impatient. But I'm learning from my mistakes. I am trading this on a small live account as I feel learning to trade on a live account is more conducive for me learning. I'm also closing the trades out nightly and opening new basket in the morning.

I have picked these pairs to trade today. If the weekly close was lower than the opening i chosed to "sell" if it was higher to "buy".

Sell:
Usd/Chf
Usd/Cad
Eur/Chf
Gbp/Chf


buy:
Eur/Jpy
Aud/Usd
Nzd/usd
Gbp/Usd

Will see what the outcome will be.

3- after one ours i should Trade the two bottom pair with bigger lot.

4- i closed my order that negative or hedge .

what time i should closed my order?

How I use this method.

 

  1. I open 10 basket at 0.01

  1. Wait min 1 hour

  1. Trade only bottom two places. Hedge if trade enters settled DD.

  1. First trade placed at 0.05 or 0.10
  2. If move into stready profit enter another trade at 0.50.
  3. Stop set at 200 for disaster protection only.

  1. If a trade (.05 or .50) enters drawdown I close it at -$200 or hedge.

Can I ask you to explain how you use samir indi ? Are you using the daily or weekly one ?

For instance, as I am writing this, the daily one is showing a SHORT STRONG and the weekly one is showing a LONG STRONG. I assume you use the daily one since you close your basket every night...

Slightly changed

 

  1. I open 10 basket at 0.01
  2. Wait min 1 hour
  3. Trade only bottom two places at 0.10 if the A samir indi shows strong trend.
  4. Hedge if trade enters settled DD but I now close out 1/2 the lot size if DD runs away to take some heat out of it and then hedge. (close 0.05 then hedge balance with 0.10)
  5. If move into stready profit enter another trade at 0.10 repeat if strong trend continues and original 0.10 moves into healthy profit.(risk of buying/selling at top or bottom so care!
  6. Stop: I no longer enter stop loss. I dont find I need to (as per Chips)
  7. I wont let a trade get to $200 DD. I take action much quicker to reduce DD. EG A trade at 0.10 reaches around $50 and the A samir trend is weakening + I cut half.
  8. This is how I trade it now, its not exactly as Chips explains it but as he says "there is no right or wrong way to trade. I find it works for me with these latest modifications

I use the daily only. I open 0.10 trades only if the trend is strong.
Also the profit column is good I find. over 100 and the pair makes good headway. 80 to 100 fair below 80 slow 50 or less possible DD. Not exactly mind you but an indication...
This is how I use it though some might differ of course lol

I've attached a screen shot of exactly how my platform looks.. nice and neat and compact so I can do my day job with it pushed to the side of my screen and its constantly there at a glance.
