Candles depends on data which you import into the program. You can even import tick data into this program and you will get 99% modeling quality.
I am being really picky with the quality but if I can import better data then that would be a whole lot better.

If the quality of testing means a lot for you then do not use built-in MT4 tester... very often it shows the profit even fro bad EAs so I suppose that it will not be precise with manual strategies as well.
Think twice before going live, even if you own the best trading strategy...
