in my opinion chicky is the only true, professional i have seen in FF so far.

he is so far ahead of most of us.

i have only recently came around his idea of R:R,

i can see where he is coming from.

especially when trying to automate trading with reduce screen time.

and at the end of the day, with the rule of large numbers it will hit you

chicky my hats off to you buddy, i am starting a journal experimenting with some ideas i would appreciate your input.

Redlion, I am grateful for your these kind comments. However, not yet a professional trader. Fx is only one of the few projects I am working on. They are all still Work in Progress. I sleep for three to four hours a day and spend about 20 hours working on these projects. There are so many things that need attention. I come here to relax and share whatever I can when cannot focus on my other projects. The only luxury I have is one and half hour spent in the gym. While working out, my brain constantly busy finding solutions for puzzled pieces of my projects.

As explained ealier in this thread, my interest in Fx is only limited to a planned research and it is more a hobby that anything else.

do you ever consider opening a mt4 subaccount You still be able to trade with fxtrade. I'm just saying because i'm interested to see your analysis tracked so we can learn from it

We are still at money management level. No need to check the technicals and trade analysis, I am not strictly following my method. Will check mt4 option.

Trade #63 running but PA went below the 1.2700/1.2720 support (now resistance). Isn't much I can do about it ............. controlling PA is not my problem anyway.

ps - Off to gym, will be back in two hours or so.

We started testing this method from Sept 26, 2011 when pa was around 1.3400. Most of all 63 trades we took were longs. The price since then has fallen to near 1.2700, about 700 pips down. Currently, our account shows a profit of little over 3% in 3 1/2 months. That comes to about 1% per month. The win/loss ratio is just over 50/50 against a target of 60/40. Maximum draw-down was about 1% which is amazingly lower than what I expected. Quite happy with these results not only because the ROI is far better than Cost of Capital (rate of interest on a saving account) but also this period from August to January is considered high risk for trading plus we also took some risky trades just to test strength of this method.

hey i never seen u going short chicky - is it because there is no rally to short into - or another reason?

I should follow my lines regardless of whatever. The only reason, I developed my method based on lines and not based on economics. When I analyzed charts, always checked how price acts at supports/resistances and not what events occured at that time causing them to move.

I am mostly long because the trend is down and therefore chances of good bounces. But the main reason of my long trades is that I trade during limited hours and most short opportunities presented themselves when I was away.

I am not sure about this trade, but low risk trades always let me take a quick decision. The reason for this one is that Germany maintained its rating, also Monday is Bank Holiday in the US for MLKJ day. The direction will be clear on Tuesday and therefore consider these low levels a good opportunity for a chance.
