hey L T

What if price is not between lines B and C at the start of your day, as with G/U today?

thanks,
Ignored

Fourx,

As long as the price is between A & D at 7:00am then all is ok.

It's a wild one today... 9 trades - 8 wins & 1 loss. Will be closing down charts for the day very shortly
PREPARATION is PARAMOUNT for PEAK PERFORMANCE....

Todays G/U has had 3 trades so far:-

Trade 1: Long @ 8:15am. Hit Tp @ 9:19am

Trade 2: Long @ 9:48am. Hit SL @ 10:26am

Trade 3: Short @ 10:26am. Hit TP @ 10:28am.

Hope this helps

Hi L T
I have been following you journal for a few days and I have a few questions.
Do you use an order to trade 1 & 2 (i.e If price breaks A by 2 points then go LONG & If price breaks D by 2 points then go SHORT) or do you entre it manually?
If you go short on break of D and hit the TP, then if price went back to line D & close above D and breaks down line D by 2 pips, do you go short again? (look at today’s EU at 13:05:00) sorry I am new to this game and I do not know how to attach a chart.
Thanks

Hi Yonas,

For the A & D trades I set pending buy stop & sell stop orders just before 7:00am.... It's easier that way because then I only have to concentrate on the B & C orders as they happen.

In answer to your other question regarding re-entry.... Yes is the answer, however, on my chart today for E/U at 1:05pm it did not close back above line D.

Hope this makes sense......

Ok, todays results are as follows:-

DOW No trades
FTSE +1 B/E
S&P No trades

E/U +1 +1
G/U +1 -1 +1
A/U +0.3
U/CAD +1
U/CHF +1 +1
E/J +1 +1

As posted earlier, I was trading at 0.5% risk today because the lines were bunched close together due to yesterdays market inactivity.

I also stopped trading today at 12:00 due to the good results from this morning.

Hence, todays result was +4.15%.

Another 1.2% would have been up for grabs this afternoon had I traded until 4:00pm.

Will post up some charts later

Outstanding work , i have always believed that indicators are not necessary. The big players that move the market, ie banks, hedge funds etc, do not look at macd, rsi, stochastic etc
Can i assume that your ABCD are proprietary?

He says it in his opening post

"It's a calculation of my own, based on previous days
price action. They are areas where I like to think that the market will either reverse
or break out."

Brownturtle, Stompe,

I study the charts each evening and take into account PDH / PDL (previous day high / low) amongst other things like previous support & resistance, volatility, where the market turned or had a break out, ADR etc etc.

From that I try to predict where the reversal levels are and also where the break out levels are also for the following day.

This will then give me my 4 lines (A,B,C & D)
