Hey guys

I have pulled out of this for now. Have withdrawn funds for another test account. Took one more trade since last update, a long term trade that was completely wrong.

Will have another go when I have completed my latest test. Probably some time early next year.

Alright updated. Your EA appears to be frequent trader.
In future, post your EXACT equity (when starting your attempt as well as when posting account updates). Just like $3.99 instead of $399.75. Kinda confused things around!

Managed NOT to crash this account yet.

I will keep trying for only 5% a day and shutting down EA.

I will not trade next week due to broker changing max margin to 100 to 1 for all of next week.

New balance $470.35

Call me stupid but i just found out that I can actually trade mt4 account through fxtrade platform. Now i have myfxbook and trade explorer trackin (but i'll use trade explorer for this). I'll trade this account on 1/3/12

Firstly Happy christmas (belated) to all..been busy lately. Year end means fun

2ndly,
12th account martyred too (last week) Was up >2 times once. Didn't capitalize.
Bleak liquidity; Volatile moves though only choppy. EURUSD as expected & posted..the same. Almost all major pairs in ultimate chop- Scalper EA's are minting for sure (i have 1..lol)

Gonna be out of here till approx. mid Jan. (most probably.. but who knows..may get a good starting entry on a turning point).
Liquidity gonna slowly pick up anyway.
I in fact setup a small account once again after the 12th seed/acc & traded it (within 1 day)..but due to Rule "R" implemented, i won't be a part of this challenge anyway

4thly,
"Non-MT4" Account-Screenshot method of Publishing trades has been dis-allowed/removed from here on (update posted). None of the participant currently is using this method, so no one would get affected.
Reason: As the thread is gaining momentum, lot naysayers/morons will try to enroll such accounts (demo) or post false acc. screenshots. As currently i do not have experience with all the non-MT4 brokers of the world, it would be difficult for us to verify them.
Further removing this feature won't affect degree of participation much, as any broker supported by Trade Explorer & MyfxBook & all others with at least MT4 platform, is automatically qualified to participate. And day by day Trade explorer and Myfxbook are getting better. Even brokers like oanda are on the list now.

Mate i have already explained this to you IMO. Your screenshot of trades is not for last week..those are old trades.
As the trading list goes long, just post the screenshot of the latest trades in 'history'. Make sure you have one trade atleast from previous screenshot/update...to give this a continuity ...week after week. Hope thats clear enough.

Long time..no see. I hope you have seen your "Disqualified" status with reason.
As of now, there is no re-enrollment 'allowed' for disqualified participants.
Also i haven't have any plans to allow them once again. I will think about it (prolly with same rules , like for those who shelve a attempt(Rule Q))

Swiss KOF indicator data is just out...explaining how the economy is suffering...and as expected..this will prolly pinch SNB to once again go for a kick (babble or real work)..or may be a floor raise to 1.25 this time. Who knows!

So for the record, I am doing a 2nd attempt because i have lost 50k.

I was able to grow 10k to 50k daytrading because I have a sound method. But I lost it cause I didn't have an 'uncle' point. My idea of risk was on a trade by trade basis, but i fail to look at the overall risk by not setting a max losing point. Hopefuly this can serve as a reminder to others that risk management goes beyond the 2% per trade.

Anyways, I'm hoping with the 4k and greater control of my risk i can replicate my gains and achieve the 100 fold goal.

Alright.. as per the PM discussion we had, i have edited the Rule "Q" to allow disqualified participants to ren-enroll only for one time basis. One time exception..bcoz else disqualification means nothing and rules may be continuously flouted.
Its a good strong character of yours that you have in the end accepted/confirmed the loss. Many lose but very few accept it. A FACT!

WATCH it carefully guys... , as expected and posted making new lows.
Just made a 8 weekly low @ 1.2154 & below 1.2123 it would be a 16 weekly low
I see a good opportunity here esp. after the latest KOF data and thin market liquidity...both for me and SNB !
Using buy limit orders down till 1.21 and buy stops too higher above 1.22 is a very good idea.
Lets WnW. .. how much lower it can get.

I think the low is done for short term . Lets c though
Will post charts later. Quarterly and yearly charts are interesting!

Daily low still the same... Repelled down to 1.2158 once again after making 1.2172.
PA doesn't look convincing for upmove (SNB babble isn't due to PA anyway)
I think it is going more lower. Changed bias.. Closed longs & shorted now (with TIGHT stops) & waiting for better entry on longs (buy limits placed)

As expected..did make new low of 1.2152
But PA was not convincing on lower TF's.
As of now..closed all shorts (in profits) and buying heavily from 1.2155 levels. Trailing tight...os if retraced bit more..i am done

We just had a pop..! Watch out
REAL pop or not..time will tell..liquidity is really thin in this market (Friday too today...synonymous of wild moves)
If remains above 1.2165 on retracement... then prolly its looking up..say 1.222 levels as first halt
On D1 TF,
If closes anything around daily high of 1.2186..would be a nice Bullish rejection Pin bar with a good wick!
