Using SetIndexBuffer in MT4 Script

Hi all.

Is it possible to use SetIndexBuffer in script? I know it is possible in indicators.

When I tried to execute a script (experts/scripts) with SetIndexBuffer, it complains "Script 'ma-scriptor' is an indicator and will not be executed"

I would like to execute the script which will draw a MA overlapped on the chart.

Any advice?

MQL4 language prohibits this. Every language has rules and limitations and functional ones are more restrictive than general purpose ones. Put your code into an indicator - a new one or an existing one and it will work fine.

I managed to overcome this with ObjectCreate & ObjectSet.
