What's important is that the moving averages are in the same direction and that price is not above any of them if you are wanting to short.

Only dollar pairs. EU, GU or AU

EU is the main pair I trade, only for spread reasons.

It doesn't matter too much which chart you look at, they all look pretty similar on a price bar chart. Take this Gold chart... it just the same as any other chart, shows the same characteristics, price bouncing between levels, previous intraday support and resistance. Pull backs that are sold into in a down move, typical price behaviour.

Not sure how you could of noticed a change in color unless the bars have changed after closing, not sure how this could happen, I haven't seen it happen using my range bar expert.

I've clearly stated that to obtain a script to run range bars on mt4, that anyone who wishes to do this will have to obtain one themselves as it is a commercial script the one I am using.

I cannot control what others do I'm afraid as you say.

Musashi, thanks for understanding my point and that this is nothing to do with you.

In my experience I have found that all good traders appreciate the efforts of coders, whether they are given away free here on FF or produced commercially. Indeed, anyone who makes his living from helping us to become profitable deserves our respect.

Hi Dan,

i think you can delete only posts that r made by you in the present day and cannot the posts made yesterday or so.., so maybe contacting the FF admin is the solution.., maybe....

Not a deep enough retracement to signal a trade... certainly resistance was evident at the 1.3000 level however.

Hi M, Thanks for posting up the charts. Just wanted to ask, What would you consider a deep enough retracement when taking a trade. Since you use range bars, how many pips roughly would a valid retracement be.

Stochastic above 80 and below 20 is a deep retracement. In this instance I was hoping for a move back to around the xx25 level to coincide with previous support levels.

Missing a move doesn't concern me too much.

A valid retrace will always appear at some point.

Where possible I'll try to post a chart before the trade happens.

There was a signal to trade which happened after I went to sleep, and another signal after that one, which occured outside of NY market times, which is typically not a good time to be trading as it's what I call the dead zone.
