Are you trading options tomorrow? I've got a lot of articles collected all day and especially in the last few hours so it looks like it the one to go for this week in my view anyway. No talk on the boards though. What do you think?

Which news release were you looking at in particular?

Thanks for the link, the site looks very useful. Retail sales data is out later today and the trader talk articles (stuff on my brokers news page) are talking about a strong number filling the gap from friday on the euro so I think that's the one we want. If its bad surely it will climb to at least 1.2350 because on Tuesday Greenspan said its just a blip and the economy will continue to grow strongly.

That's a shame because I've found it really useful. Today was the first time it didn't work and even then I only lost 3 points. If I had been sharper and squared the upside bet after the data I would have come out ahead but there you go. Are there no US firms you can use?

I actually bought the same info but did not know you can only use it in the UK. Since I'm in the US I don't think I can do anything he tells you to do. That Binary Bet stuff looked pretty cool too, I hope the US comes out with one and the spread betting one soon!

On the moneytec board a guy called Baruch says Saxo do daily options but you trade by dealer chat instead of normal clicking. I'm in the middle of opening another normal fx account but as soon as that's sorted out I'm gonna look into Saxo properly because I heard they are reputable and have good spreads for normal fx so maybe option spreads will be good too.

I still haven't got around to it. Hopefully these new account will be sorted by middle of next week and I'll speak to Saxo then. There may be some problems with viewing quotes by the sounds of it but we''ll see what their reps say.

Maybe its not available anymore. Or try emailing at their website copperchip.co.uk and ask for Marc + fx systems.

Yep you use cheap options and do it for big data for best effects.

You call a move not direction so you have to do both. Its like straddling normal fx really but you don't have to worry about being stopped out or slippage.
