about the volume I would like to add a secret I am sure you all will love.

there are 2 factors to determine volume ,that gives the ability to asses the market correctly ,
1. history volume
2. and recent volume

so basicly talking about volume, a trader has to asses those 2 factors ,history versus recent.

I am missing here good analyses as we have seen in past days. Come on folks - up or down? Share your analysis.

See, I am mainly a scalper and I hunt in most cases for a handful of pips.

So no sense for me in posting here every trade. But I also go, from time to time, for the big movements. I only take them when they offer me an outstanding RR, sometimes less than 10pips risk for 50 to over 100 pips.

That is the reason I share here often my EW counts or momentum considerations and try to get a discussion.

I oftentimes have nice discussions with Mercy, Raza and Seb.

Point is, I am missing here more and more detailed analysis of market situations. I am not here to hear, who took a positon or not, because that depends mainly on trading style and MM.

If I were here for "position-watching", I could even so go to Dukascopy and watch it there.

I would like to hear, why certain levels are seen to be of significance or not.

It makes no sense to post bullish or bearish levels without giving them "levels of probability". I could post all the day bullish and bearish levels of the 15min Murrey Math chart, and I bet, that I would be right 75% of the time.

For me the right levels are that levels, where the price reverses significantly.

So, to keep it short:

over the last weeks the quality of this thread had deteriorated. Most of the times we are not communicating or discussing, we are doing monologues.

I can see that oftentimes, when someone asks a question and no one answers. This morning Pandamonium asked a very valid question regarding FA. And nearly no one had an answer. It was Mercy and me answering the question.

That begs the question in this case: are you all really not interested in FA? I can remember, that a few members here more than one time stated, that they are basing their trading decisions on FA. No one of them answered.

Folks, come on. Trading Forex without a little bit understanding of FA is like driving without driving license. You can steer the car, but are you able to drive from one end of New York to the other end without accident?

If you claim to trade momentum you simply must accept, than in no other market than Forex the strongest momentum moves are triggered by fundamentals. Yes, that are the WTF-moments for many clueless traders.


Come on folks, let this place shine in its old glamour.

I like to know what YOU think where the train is heading and where I should leave the train. And I would like to know where the place is, at that I know that I caught the wrong train.

Did someone actually notice, that when Mercy does not post regularly, the thread slows down significantly?

The whole discussion/anger of last days was centered around "posting trades". Folks, think twice: no need for a pissing contest here.

Post analysis, no trades. When things speed up, no serious trader, no scalper, no momentum trader has the time to post trades timely.

The interesting time is beforehand. It is the time we prepare our trades. That is the time we can offer our analysis, our views, get into discussions.

When I post a trade here, I hate to provide a SL. Why? Simply: it is MM dependend on the one side. And on the other side: I hate it to give information no one should know. And the third: oftentimes I have no fix SL, more kind of SL area (which depends on momentum and movement).

Last days some persons asked to deliver performance-statistiks. Well, what shall I say: people, do you really trade with Metatrader? Come on, for some purposes it is a good charing programm, highly adjustable. I use it for Murrey Math charting, since I found no other platform where I can use my very own settings. But for trading? This platform is made to be cheated. Don't you know that. It is a platform that is heavily used by Retail Broker (Market Maker) who trade against you. Every serious ECN or STP broker should not adapt MT4. So for the sake of the health of your deposits: do not trade via MT4

Why do I stress that this time: because of the performance-statistics. It can only be delivered with an MT4 account.

Besides that: I see really no need to show anyone my account information LOL

show me your analysis, not your trades

weekly pivot at FXCM at 3362 and at Dukascopy at 3363, actionforex at 3338

monthly pivot at FXCM at 3507 and at Duka at 3508, actionforex at 3509



Does someone have an explanation for the weekly difference between Actionforex and (Duka+FXCM)?

Maybe they start the week at other dates? Duka starts the week at Mondays

my Point Of View
1.3395 area -1.3420 area is from great importance ,if we hold above that we can reach 50 percent retracement 1.38xx level area

close below that an we go for the low off this week and LOWER so it has great importance.

why lower? bec its a basis level ,plus it means fail off liquidity from the CB.

in other words 1.3420 area is history volume.

the volume Idea I posted earlier I hope you enjoyed it.

I dont care about FA because imo this isnt what the market really drives. The Bias can be short and you´re positioned in the market and out of nowhere you can end up in a short squeeze. Look 28th November until now.
If I would invest maybe I would care about, but in fact I dont trade longterm it really doesnt matter for me. Am profitable without it.

n my 4h chart I have marked the area and I can see the importance from that view

Do not get me wrong on FA/TA. Point was only: some fundamentals produces in Forex the best momentum moves

appreciate your view every time.

You know, I do a lot of analysis with Elliott wave. It is purely sentiment based since the waves are a reflection of social mood.

But even Prechter admits, that short term in Forex sometimes fundamentals outweight sentiment, sometimes for a longer duration.

That is one of the reason why EW in Forex markets is sometimes the wrong tool. The early short squeeze is this case might be triggered through early leakage of the FED and other CB "interventions". You know, not all people are eaqual, especially when Goldmanites are involved :-)

I agree on many things , but in order to raise the bar we need to set up some rules .

first and most important is respect !

second is to be honest !

without those two it aint gonna get better .

making calls is not a bad thing and watching other traders positions is good and insightful by itself even without published analysis .

it was not and is not and will not be a competition .

we should be mature enough for dick swinging.

lets face it , many have their own revised methods of trading and don't wanna share some of the information they believe they have . and we should respect that .

speaking for my self, I can keep posting charts and patterns , observations , predictions ...etc . But I would like to keep some information for my self .

I might post a position and I would like not to post the reason . and might post a position and say the reason .

but as long as I am honest and sincere in posting it , I believe others should be thankful for that .same as I am thankful for every single sincere trader here who shares his view and/or position .


when I see some one mentioning he has pending sell or buy I salute him , and next day price moves against him . I would expect from him to stick to his opinion or trade . and I will respect him even more !

and when I see some one posting position , and for no reason I see avalanch of sarcasm " like if the market should be one sided " it even degrades the quality more !

posts like 10-15-20 pips are no interest to me .

but that's me ,many here do this kind of trading.

but defenatly post like 10+/20+ pips after all the moves happen , automatically poster is in my ignore list !
