True...what we are waiting for now, I guess. I did catch the GBPUSD long, but only because I set it and forgot it.

Sorry but still a ibit confused. Since we are not using candles or line charts in this system we are only judging where price is according to where the ma's are? S&R are only drawn to the ma's as well? Anyone using pivots as lines in the sand, where price may bounce off of or extend to? Thanks!

That is the indy that was developed for my other thread by a trader named Scrutch. It works on the RSI(3) and is used for directional purposes.

For BOs on the H1 chart the H4 direction on the indy would need to match..if daily matches... even better.

I do not know how to move it to this thread, but it is on the Trade What you See--Almost Naked thread. Called "Lawgirls Trend Display". It's much like the TRO candle indy only doesn't give as much info, which I like.

Ahhh ok. Yes I knows it and have used it from your other thread. Only that in your chart does not look good. I purposely say that I did a small modification to this indicator to correct a problem It have. If you change the Time Frame, the first indicator (H1) changes with each TF. I send the corrected version.

Thanks.

Hi LG,

Regarding your EURCHF 1H trade in the prior post, how did you manage the trade? Did you set a SL and TP at the time the short was entered? Do you enter a set SL and TP based on a desired R:R ratio? Or, do you set SL and TP based on S/R above/below entry if a minimum R:R can be met? I noticed that price reversed. Were you able to profit from this trade?

I know you don't maintain a W/L % track record, but when I have mastered this method what W/L% would be typical for the diligent trader? Put another way, is 80% plus a reasonable benchmark for success with this approach?

Do you prefer this method to TMS?

Thanks very much for your reply,

John

Good questions, John. I did not manage that trade well at all. I did set a SL and TP and it hit my SL -30 pips. I like to monitor my trades and did not watch this one or I would have gotten out when the RSIs changed and the 3EMA hooked up. And had I been watching, I would have gone long on the cross back up.

I do not look at W/L ratios. I pull money out when I am up $5,000. Then trade my $10k "stake" back to 15,000....pull that out....and repeat. The quickest I have gone from 10k to 15k has been around 4 trading days...but it usually takes longer.

I have several trading systems I really like depending on what the market is doing, TMS is one of them. But I prefer no candles.

Unable to post charts now, but GBP/USD and USD/SGD on hourly charts are worth watching.
