One thing only, ego, uhhm we all have it, myself I have a huge one, I am sure the others have it a bit as well, myself always had it, I am not ashamed of it, is part of me.

I also know that is not good for me, specially in trading. But I deal with him, I stare at him, I do not react or respond to his requests, just stare and more stare and after a while he goes numb and lets me live my life a bit more fully until he is provoked and here he come again. But as I said, he is part of me and also help me in not helping me. Do you know what I mean?

How do you deal with it?

Ego, mla, all has. No need deal with it. Only need recognise it and no allow it harm others.
Its our deception mechanism, defense mechanism , if you like.
The more powerful one becomes , this mutates.
Youth, creates for us a need defend almost all things.
As we mellow with life experience, then we begin understand, its all mean nothing without love and empathy.
Even honour is an offspring of the ego. Milions had died for that alone.
At the end of the day respect and honour must be unheld with empathy and affections. Otherwise is only rigidity.
Thats exactly what the expression i said in chinese describes about the rice and the bowl.

Like for redlions case his deception is that he thinks he respects , but in fact his ego overwhelms it.
Traders we begin develop bias when riding correct flow. Then ego begin setin. Unless have empathy, then is astrayed.

Don't mistaken that ego is a concious thingy. It not. Thats why jesus, when he suffered of man's humanity. He prayed "father forgive them , for they know not what they do." That, my friend, is the message, god sent us.

To bite the hands that trys feed it, That is sin. Sin of deception. Only animaals without brains does it. Even some animal had learned to observe that which they not understand, instead of instinct. Otherwise you would need shoot your dog.

Try understand, that when 2 side clashes in battle, both is driven by same and is the same face of the coin. Both is driven by fear, fear for safety and greed, greed for gains. Same as in markets, when battle ensues, there is no rights and wrongs, only duty. But there is difference in that which is the battleground. All enters knowing that if not gains will be pain. Its different from going into someoneshousehold and pillage. That's why their is the risk disclosure statement. It clearly states that you are aware that you are going into battle for gains and that whatever you gain or losses is what you laid on the table of war. Only problem is some bring the battleground into their household. Then it becomes life and death. If one intrudes into others household, by virtue of defence, expect to "kill or be killed".An old soldier's expression.

I like this post, is complete.

Specially that you opened about Red. I think there has been a misunderstanding, that's all, like in all good families.
I only can assure you that his intention was not to of luck of respect. Red has a solid heart and I am sure he is feeling very sad. That is my impression only, I have not chat with him about this.

From my point of view if I can be honest, the followers have some kind of created this kind of elite, if I can put it that way, where if you think slightly
differently, they are quick at attacking you to the level of denigration.
Now I have not read the first 200 pages, but I read the first 10.
And I remember that when I read them, I went "Jesus this guy is exactly what I looking for", because I thought that you were talking trading as a human condition, individuality and compassion, prerogative that are bread for my soul.

Of course I was looking forward to read the remaining of the 190 pages and more, and in the mean time I started to post.

This is not going to make me popular, but to be honest I did not see those above prerogative in your followers, I did not see that altruism and compassion that I read in the first 10 pages. I remember that I asked only to see a current chart without explanation. No one was interested, they all referred me to the 200 pages in a kind of snappy, do not want to be disturbed way. At the time you were not around.

I thought that was a huge contradiction and I refused to read more pages.

If I do not err, I think this contradiction make this all concept/non concept shake quite a bit.

And maybe Red only wanted to push the edge trying to clear to make sense of those contradictions. Because I know that your teaching is very close to his heart.

Now I am not looking for a fight, I have only the courage to place this forward.

In my view this is an important point, if this can be discussed freely with respect of each other differences I think this thread can step forward and become vibrant as it once probably was or more.

This is my view and I hope you appreciate my frankness.

Well, as far as i know , is still free world, and ff is free for all to post. But if one cannot accept certain priciples then they need find communities that they are confortable in. But is rude call friends cult while challanging certain principles. and nationality, creed, colour, religion , caste or race or profession has no bearing on discussions. Only in their ego, in golf is known as " no standing". Only impact these will have is on emotions and ego.

About the thread going forward.
In fact there's no where to go.
The presentation is finished and its grown to become a community.
More that i can envisualise.
Only trying help new comers who may want read and see if they can learn some skills.

Now in fact we just chitty chatty , and some fellowship.

I do not think is fair to say that I judge them when the opposite occurred.
Remember I was the outsider and they were judging me for not knowing.

They were not listening, were they giving? remember I only wanted to see a chart. Is that to much to ask? You have given 1952 pages of your life.

What about them? fana
they make judgement call of whats presented before them to make decisions on what presidence judements had been made on the issues before them.
If you have grouses , then you ask them to to make learned judgement on issues.
Then liars all go court present their case for decision.

One thing, their decisions , very expensive.
Sometimes hard tell truth from lies. Lies can even destroy nations, as you had seen.
Lies destroy just about anything good.
The more the mind bias , the worst the lies.

- I knew some law-students at school..., but i never liked them much... they had something very cold inside...

Just need know who is lying more.
No one can present the truth.
Mind knows.

Pure truth can only come from God.
Humans all adulterated.

Law is a very difficult life style.

I know a top gun criminal lawyer myself.
He's very very good.
But because of his work, he drank himself to death.

I am a Euro bear. However, with all the recent press that is predicting the end of the euro, perhaps it is now time to look for a (temporary) push north in the E/$? Times like these are made for fti's teachings. No predicting, just dance with the market, taking whatever it will give.

I don’t have an innate skill. It comes from being extremely interested in markets and looking at everything all the time.After doing it for years, I’ve developed a mental database of where things should be, such that when something makes an irregular move, it shows up on my radar screen. I used to have so much fun playing around in the market and knowing that I knew my markets better than other people.


Also, the central banks were so much more active back then, especially in Europe. It was a no-brainer because they were keeping everything in ranges and leaving orders at fixings. The central banks would all set the value of their currencies every day and each one wanted to have their own daily fixing.There was one in the Netherlands, one in Paris, one in Germany, and so on.
Logically, the French franc versus the Dutch guilder should be the same whether it’s being fixed in Paris or in the Netherlands because it’s the same thing. But it wouldn’t be the same because it would be traded differently due to the different orders. Meanwhile, I knew who had big orders and where, because I spoke to all the banks and customers. I would leave orders in one center and unwind them in another center at official fixings and make money. It was just a great period of time. [...]

1) What "God" do you serve? Would that be the God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Noah, Jushua and Joseph?

2) You indicate that market "Structure," is one of the important ingredients to successfully trading the markets. So, my question in that regard is whether or not you believe that market structure is a random technical anomaly, or a mathematical and quantifiable (numerical, if you like) fact, derived from empirical evidence taken directly from history?

3) Have you researched, studied and categorized all forms of technical analysis?

4) Are you familiar with the branch of technical analysis that deals exclusively with the study of the Probability of Price Delta?

I really appreciate a thread like this, and I only wish that I had responded to it in the past.
