I will answer later. You are partially right...

While waiting for the market to decide where to go, I will answer jbbb question.

1. I add at specific points, S&R levels on H1 chart, trend lines, fibos. I try not to add too fast since my goal is not to build heavy positions very quick. I try to add after 30 pips distance but it depends on my feeling of the PA. Also I try to be with the price within 23 fibo of the current move.

2. I add until I reach my designated % of leverage. It will not bring any value to you to disclose how much it is. If the position becomes too big I hedge it or cut a part of it in order to free leverage that I will add at a better point.

I hope this answers your questions.

hi, yes youve answered my questions.
thanks major.

ive often considered trading the way you trade, but have been wary about getting caught in a strong trend. So watching you how trade, especially big trending moves is very interesting.
thanks for posting yr journal and yr thoughts

Good morning.

Thank you for your messages. I will start in order:
- I do not hedge eu with gu. I hedge eu by adding a percentage of the total position in the opposite direction. Same for GU.

- strong trends are difficult to master. As you see, I failed twice exiting eu. But the key is to have a very strict money management and to avoid building heavy unmanageable positions. What this means? It depends on your equity and your risk appetite.

- I want to stress again that this is not a signal service. You trade at your own risk.

- I am happy to answer your questions if the time is allowing me.

Total this week +462 pips.

I am square. As you could see I did not trade today due to personal reasons which was a pity because I intended to be long again.

Anyway, have a nice week-end. Bye.

Thank you for your kind words.

It was a so an so week but, again, I am grateful for the result and for the pips the market gave me. This is a tough market, like nothing I have seen before. Take care.

Hi majoruse

I am new to trading. I have been following your journal for a few weeks. Your result is very impressive. I would be great full if you can answer the following questions.

  1. You use support & resistance points, Fibo, trend lines, for you entries. Do you use it for you exit as well?
  2. What time zone (i.e. GMT, EST ) do you use to calculate the pivot points?
  3. There is lots of news daily above the euro zone. Does it affect your trading decision?

Many thanks
Yonas

@Yonas

1. yes. I exit at support or resistance, fibo, ema.
2. my chart is GMT+2
3. of course. If there is a day with negative news for the euro and I am long I add more cautious.
