This is my experience with this method with lots of 0.1 and 0.4:

The maximum DD belonged to the 26 % and the solution was the one of averaging every 100 pips, to reduce and to disappear the DD. Once this was made I close everything at a profit and I open the 10-pair basket again. Until now ( 4 days ) I take an aggregate of 11 % in profits.

what do you mean by averaging ? Can u show us the steps u do when u average ?

Nice results, but what do you exactly mean by averaging? Can you post your demo account history as others have, it might be easier to understand your DD control, thanks

I believe he means once a sell for example gets 100pips in DD he puts on another sell of the same pair. I could be wrong.

ok what we can do is use a base cost for your buisness
if the spread of a currency is $5 your cost is $10 and to reach a 1.25 YOU NEED $15 PROFIT MIN FOR A TRADE

sales stock ratio 1.25 you need 15 pips other wise your account dd will
be below zero you print money your accont dd goes up

so for account holders trading macros .o1 they need more profit per sale even to make money mostly they are selling at a loss

but as they go up in lot size there profit becomes easier to cover cost

this is an important point

how many trader say just tok 5 pips scalp

any one can print money any one can sell below cost
cant they

but if you do not cover cost you go broke its simple as that
so i always say as an example use 5 pips buy 5 pips sell is your cost

but think $10 to make a profit you need $15

dollars dollars as .o1 think dollars low account sizes eg under $10 000

and small lot sizes one has to think dollars cost of the sale


now bks i expect to be robbed i just keep loking for one that isnt so blantent

i hear oianda are good but i dont know i just tread carful the one that doesnt keep saying trade contex busy cant get the order on quicly cant take profit quickly ect

also look at the bottom the kb the change over time they change there data feed all influence your timing of your trade of entry and exit

it realy should be looked at in my opinion

now 2 good tools tick seperated volume one can see if one looks change over data times goes o buys o sells a clue to data feed change over it causes spikes in eas he he

I like your method and think you are very nice for putting up all the instruction and videos.

However, I keep seeing posts like this that keep comparing trading to other things. I gotta say doesn't really help. Just give clear instruction on what you mean to say that should be done.

People keep asking about managing drawdown. I suggest this. Just give them a few step by step instructions. As you keep saying managing DD is the most important part of method, don't gripe and say you are hand holding when people dont understand how to manage drawdown and want clearer instruction, as the method falls apart without it.

For instance: (just an example now everyone, not what I'm saying this method says to do, but some of the things I and others here have discussed)

In bad drawdown: You can do one of the following
1. non us trader? put on a hedge on same pair.
2. Hedge using a synthetic hedge from the other side of the basket.
3. Average in the trade. That is if trade has gone x pips against you take the same trade at a higher level so when it comes back it's even.
4. Provided you are only in drawdown on 1 or 2 .04 trades, wait for the other side of the basket to go to the bottom slot and nibble away at the DD by taking .04 trades and taking profit on them.

i can vouch for smarttradefx ive been with them about 2 years great service and also fast even during news. very good spreads as well

im not intersted in going over 100 times its your problem not mine if you dont spend time learning drawdown

it takes a minium of 30 days practacing
if you dont understand its your problem

you cant read a book on swiming no mater how many books one writes without swimming

i have no time with answering with people that want to dictate how i give information

Hate to sound like a newb but can't get it to work. I've moved it to my indicators folder and can now see it in my navigator, when I click/double click nothing happens. I've tried with exp advisors on/off, allow live trading etc and nothing. Any suggestions?

Needs to go in experts/scripts NOT experts/indicator
