I sure hope all the experts start putting their heads together find a solution for the euro.

No market to trade? I hope that doesn't happen. I can't imagine preparing myself for 2 yrs to go full time, only to find that fx trading is over

I had few good trades in EU today even in this chop. I must say that after speaking to Niels I got charged up. although the trades were long which was against the short bias but came out with positive.

Hi Simpleman,

Are you planning to do this full-time too? Seems like you are picking up fast. For me, mindset would be the toughest hurdle... You have to keep taming it.

Fti, you say the markets have crossed an important level, during thin trading, what information if any does this suggest to us as traders? Usually at these hours the market does not tend to make these pushes, could this suggest a volatile day ahead? or something else? or is just another part of the dance and all we do is attempt to follow. ? I guess if nothing else it shows a lot of dollar strength right now?

To be honest, no one really knows.

Strategically, is clever take 75% profits and use the foreigncap see if can ride another wave down.
Also that allows you leeway if a strong rally comes to reposition for nice shorts.

Yes, I am planning to do it full time, but just like you I will give couple of years time to accumulate some equity.

BOJ last time intereved at 100 Billion(some definately came in my pocket ) $... lets say if we hit the level(75.30) again so where did that 100 billion went...speculators...

then once BOJ interved again speculators will take away there money and get more stronger....

makes me think this book...

then learn skills.
alternative is to try look for position trade for financial institutions.
they always need good traders with immaculate trading track record.
don't be demanding, just work for peanuts.
no one can keep good traders down.
If your boss not spot your talents, then someone else's boss will.

i dont know this is rigidty or terrain...3rd time this year...if managed properly it gives you good return or truckload return...and people used to see once in 5-10 years we have been lucky enough to watch this 3 times this year and i think i ahve seen personally 4 times ...

some how MO is very different when they intervene..opening a large position for long still takes GUTS for me it can only be done when BOJ is behind you...
