The first post explains exactly what the levels are.

They are not a system, just a tool to use with your system.

It turns out they are only really useful to experienced traders.

We did suggest a very simple system but have removed it now.

Now we offer FTI which we hope will help less experienced traders.

Patronizing might be harmful to your reputation and business.

Lemme try this one more time: what is the meaning of the numbers (Daily(0), Daily(-1) etc.). If you don't know, please say so. If they're just levels and have no distinct meaning, say so. Don't try to be coy.

Hi snowki,

Just been reading your postings.
My first post in a while since I've been trading with Andrew's FMRL's.
It appears, you may be having a few problems with the understanding of the of these lines. If you read my past postings, You'll notice that I do NOT get hung up on the techincals of the lines and how the are derived, but moreso how price behaves around EACH of them!

It's like driving a car. The majority of us aint really interested in how the car works, as long as you can get in, turn the key, it starts and get you to where you want to go.

The reason many traders lose is because, they get TOO hung up on the technicals of trading and not what is actually causing the price to move!

Let me tell you, most of the skills required to succeed in this game is psychological. "Is the smart money trying to send me the wrong way at this price level?"

Andrew mentioned from day one, these lines are just extra amunition in your trading arsenal and rightlfully so; may be more suitable for medium to advanced traders. He did not start this thread to spoon feed newbie traders, however he has done his best to accomodate most and likewise I have posted quite a few examples myself that should assist many to be successful if they truly wish to be.

As helpful as Andrew tries to be,He does have the right to hold back on any answers that may appear to encroach on his intellectual property rights if he so chooses.

I notice you asked the significance of weekly FMRL numbers 0, -0, 1 etc.
I'm not going to lie to you and say that I know what these mean, ( I'm not really interested.
The way I use them is to pay great attention to PA around these and how price behaves around them. My strategy does include taking note of Volume around these areas too.

Yes, read the complete thread, including your valuable posts.

I do know how to trade around these lines, that's not the issue. I was merely interested in the meaning of the numbers of the lines and if the 0-line had perhaps a particular meaning we _traders_ should be aware of.

FMRL and Novice Traders

FMRL is only really useful to experienced traders who know how to use the levels.

We no longer talk about how to use FMRL although we did offer some ideas in post 11.

Only one novice trader has had the self discipline to trade this approach successfully.

Suggest reading the candlesticks primer from here (http://www.nysco.co.uk/Candlestick.zip)to start learning about price-action.

And finally we have recently launched the new FTI forum (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=322265) to entertain novice traders.

We suggest novices watch FMRL while it's free and cancel before it costs money.

Please post questions to the forum so that more experienced traders can help you.

We here are just mathematicians.
