Seems everyone has no time because of rereading the thread

Found a nice statement of Jim Rogers:

"You have to learn how to lose; it is more important than learning how to win. If you think you are always going to be a winner, when you lose, you will develop feelings of hostility and end up blaming the market instead of trying to learn why you lost. Limit losses quickly.. "

maybe you are trying to understand to many things at once so that is leading you to over complicate things, i found it easier to break the thread down and only concerntrate on one thing at a time, get it right them re-read to understand the next thing, i broke it down like entry-exit-identifing trend-identifing when the time frame trends align-scout entry-attach-rescue, ect, it may just be because i am dyslexic and i find it easier to do this with most things that i read, but may be worth a go this way for others here, the other thing i found helpful was to have rules when i messed up that would for instance make me not trade and just watch for a set time (usally at least 1 week) or until i knew why i messed up, then practice in demo so i know i had got it, its a bit like a punishment for not doing what i was told (using the market as my teacher), fear of not being able to trade for at least a week (and i was very strict with myself about this) kept me from making the same misktake to many times and also kept me in check with the rest of it all.

i tried to train my mistakes/faults out of me with practice, practice and more practice or punishment and eventually i believe my mind accepted that this is not that complex, i no longer look to deeply into why the market moves the way it does or care to even guess/predict what will happen, i just try to be on the advancing army's side, its pips not price that matters in this and you should not care where you capture them from.

we learn quicker if someting hurts us just like any other animal.

Hi Phil,

Segregation is one good way of understanding one thing at a time. But when you learn different things, even one by one, you need to synthesize them. Isn't it? So reading and re-reading is natural. You seem to be at par when it comes to discipline. And yes practice is the way to go.

Wats good people I am right now in south korea on exchange. Enjoying a lot playing taekwondo a lot traveling around, but I hate curphew they lock me form 11 pm to 5 am idiots. Even got small job as english teacher and I am going back home next month. As I experienced here professional tkd life, I shoudl start thinkign aboput my future as investment banker Fti you have some friends working in investment banks in seoul, I can meet with. I wanna see hws life there, as we dnt hv big banks in my country. all best

All I can say is, not everything taught at university is correct. Marketing teaching you irrationality and why people go for these bundles, unfortunately marketing also has a myopic view of this and doesn't say what the long term outcome of such actions will likely be. This whole bundling business always smelt funny... you know what they say... never get anything for free and the only mystery was figuring out what the payment was.

Happy trading day to everyone. Been a long day since London open. London was great trading the euro; euro kind of went to sleep for NY (at least for me). Hope you are all trading well, the thread has been quiet these last few days. fti, are you feeling better? Wondering how much of the euro is left in the next six months. Take care everyone.

Hi Gefx,

yes markets behaving badly already with so many wildcards playing, peeps very risk adverse.
This terrain only punters dare thread.
I punt a little and made some pips on large quickies.
I am ok, except that energys very low and no stamina, also being told i getting become cranky old man.
Nothing much happening on my front, except many friends seems falling sick and 1 more family died.
I am very sickly, but beats dying, doesn't it?

I sure hope all the experts start putting their heads together find a solution for the euro.
Otherwise what else can peeps trade for a living. Definately not sea shells.

Dear Friends. I found one mistake that i think is important by myself. It is effect of lets say "PUSHING A CART" of acc equity.
- When i have succesfull line of trades, i just tend not to take proper DD like the good ingredience of trading, but only trying to push my equity higher... Steps up are smaller and smaller... Like my brain is telling me... "dont spoiul it, just one small piece... ". And of course after some time this must crash...
Fti, thats great you just slowly and pationly develop your health... It is not matter of one year, but you have to make some "Komunist 5year term" - like myself, becouse my right hand muscle is not connected by nerve, so i have 85% only of my hand... But nevermind and if i lose that nerve, fu*k that, go ahead, never back. Regards
