I have a question, appreciate if someone can help

While trading on Renko Chart, is Wick helpful to indicators to react or Wick is just a Visual tool for a Trader to see price movements.

forgive me for my ignorance, I thought to see expert comments.
Hi i followed the manual for installation in demo mt4 but the problem is when i click on renkolivechart_v3.2 in custom indicators no window pos up and in the message box down in journal says it is not a custom indicator and will be removed. i did the settings in tools-options. i dont know what is going wrong. kindly help seniors.
hello. i've read the post from the first page, and i've any qeustion for mr.nims.what period of the two MA in the chart of renko, because i've install to my renko chart just one MA showing. thanks for help me.
Now i am using the old version which works 1.6. I dont understand what this hauss fuss is all about?. the system works beautifully in GBp/USD, usd/jpy. i am earning good money with this. i also backtested it and found good results.
Yeah, the system works, don't worry about that.

You still need to know resistance lines, retracements, channels, trend lines, works beautifully (with any renko).


I am wondering:

Can candles be programmed so, that they are of different color, darker for candles that took long time to form and brighter for candles that took less time to form?

I know, there is this indicator on the bottom, but I its not that convenient. If anyone can do that, and if it is possible to code something like that, I would really appreciate it. How much would it cost to code something like this?

A group of us followed the system to the letter. One lost his whole account and the rest of us, overall, never made a penny from it. It loked so promising but, never lived up to that promise.
It's the trader ,not the system the most important part of trading succcess!
Too bad to see that Mr. Nims was unable to follow some sort of discipline while trading others money. Most likely he will disappear for a while as he licks his wounds. Maybe he will come back one day as Mr. SIMS!


I see some capability in this set up and I need to load it up and work with it a bit. I see no reason why this couldn't be developed a bit more into a profitable template/mechanical system. I do not at all like the MACD, so that I would pull out and replace with something else right away. This needs some adjustments to clean up the ability to benchmark price action but the price Renko-Ashi's are very nice stand alone.

What time do you start and end your trading? You ;last posted on this your thread about a year ago,precisely June 6, 2010. what has happened to your Renko trading?

The best momentum oscillators, imho, have elements of Dr. Bob's 50/14 CCI in them. Way better than MACD.
Jurik VEL is one of the best momentum indicators I have ever used - too bad we can't get it for MT4. It is available for NT7 but only running on a Windows XP box - the version for W7 is not ready yet -
With this RenkoAshi system is there any way to adjust the range of the RenkoAshi candlesticks? (to adjust the time frame - make a lower time frame with smaller pip range cnadlesticks)
Can this strategy be used for people with ful time jobs or is it only for scalping? If so what settings need to be changed to make better to trade on the longer term? thanks
with this strategy i m getting confusion in GOLD (XAUUSD) WOt settings i hv to keep for that ?
Thanks for the great system. I want to add a little to it. I have rewritten a B-clock indi for Renko candle, so it shows the pips until to close the next long or short Renko candle.

The sense of it, that easier to calculate the stop level, at case of different Renko candle lengths, if somebody forgot which chart which Renko length.
