I am reading a book on moon cycle trading by "Randall Ashbourne":

The basic idea is to use a series of indicators to find overbought / oversold regions on a chart close to the vicinity of these cycles. He shows how he does it for S&P500, but its the same concept for any chart.
He uses these indicators:
1. closing price moving average of a 5 period
2. openning price exponential moving average of 5 period
3. MACD 20,6,9
and basically his concept is :
1. Go Long in an overall uptrend between the full moon and new moon when 5 Weighted Moving Average (WMA) crosses above the other one
2. Dont go long when the 5 WMA crosses below the other one in a downtrend between the new moon and the full moon
He goes into details that are trivial to me an you in the book, but there are some very good key points in it.
Another thing is that I have found is that its never the actual date of the cycles, but more or less 1 day before or after that the indicators give more authentic results.
Also once the move is done, and between the time the move is done till the next cycle, there is always a period of 18-24 hours where market is in wipsaw mode, and this you can see between november 3 to 4th on the EUR.
So my main use of these charts is three things
1. Looking for good opportunities to come close to these dates
2. Looking for a possible shift of (+/- 1 day) to carry itself to the next cycle. So on November 1st we had uptrend starting on the EUR, November 2nd was 1st quarter, so this cycle started -1 day. So I keep an eye on this -1 for the next cycle. So full moon is tomorrow and -1 day is today, which the move started at the openning of the EUR session.
3. Look for time when the move is done, and we enter the 18-24 hours of wipsaw. This is good time to keep orders open with loose stoploss, because you have 360 degrees visits of price action coming to the same place.

When I look out for the moon ... then I must say it looks quite near almost full moon ...
Don't have Moon Calendar atm ...
But looks as if prior to FULL MOON here ... although a little bit egg-shaped ...
So influence of FULL MOON cannot be very far from today ...

Re-loaded again ... a little bit larger amount now at 1.3539 (1500%) ...
Larger amount in order to adjust the BE in total sum ...

We spoke about such things in pvt already ... a longer time ago ...
Has nothing to do with the current mkt sentiment ... nothing to do with my convictions ... as it is more than obviously and clear, that the market is in strong bearish move mode ...
But as you ... and Cube as well ... did mention already ... most of the part is money management ...
I am able to do that ... because my sytem allows me to do such things ... and because I am not with "zu kleiner Unterfütterung" underway ...
That means ... I do add with much...
