Thanks very much for your chart Bemac.

One idea I had was to take the potential low that your levels produced, which I have roughly as 1.03015, and then match it with the top of this last bearish wave at 1.80946.

I then manually applied some fibs between those levels which are modified to include your 52.8 and 47.2 ratios. This gave me 1.44189 for a range top, and 1.39828 for a range bottom. So I applied your default indicator with these settings.

The chart included is the result. The result is pretty cool, I think, and seems to reinforce your own findings quite a bit.

*Non-standard use of ICCE!

After reviewing my USDCHF box, I decided to move it to here:

In this case the major high was 5 multiples above and the major low was a little over 5.5 multiples below.

Bill posting that GBP CHF daily chart has set free a can of worms in my head.

This is especially the case after he mentioned that, he uses the boxes on separate charts on their own TF and does not change the TF.

I reconstructed the GBP/CHF chart and after really looking at it for nearly two hours, it strikes me that this area looks more like a daily PPZ level than consolidation on the daily chart. We can see price not just going up and down but we can see the price flip in the middle with PA.

Could be my head trying to rationalize how uncannily these line up with PPZ.

Indeed. And now you've added some more gold to the pot of explanation, i'm redrawing my charts as you've said, with the diags very much noted.
Previously i was looking at the horizontals only and pretty much ignoring (through ignorance) the diags.

I have to say once more (due to reasons of excitement and interest) that this thread is superb.
Thanks for supplying this info/indicator/feedback etc. Really loving this learning curve and already looking upon the ICCE lines as friends on my charts.

I think Enig just gave us a hint but, the HI LO indicator he is using threw me off.

My mind is now working on multiples of the box and the area through the center. Could just be too much coffee at 7 am.

The Diagonal Intersections Alternate between 1/2 Hieght of The Box (50%) & Full Hieght of the Box (Top - Bot)

ie.
If you plot a Vertical Line on Diag Intersections, The Vert. Distance between them is the Same Hieght (in Pips) as The Box.

If you look to the Next Diag Int. in Time, The Vert Distance between 2 adjacent Intersections is 1/2 Hieght of The Box.
I can see the Horizontal Lines it suggests without having to Plot them.

So we not only have a logical Horizontal upper and lower area to look for support & resistance but also a time frame window, telling us approximately when we may see some PA? It's like a crystal ball!

The tiny 16MHZ CPU in my cranium is starting to overheat. Good job I live in Harbin. LOL

It certainly is Not Coincidence. It's exactly the Reason that J16 & ICCE Co-Habitate. That plus, which is inherant, James & I both see the Markets (& each other) in a similar light. Albeit from a slightly different vantage point.

Given the Tools & Time to Study, There is No Reason not to get ahead & Add Cargo.
Don't Skim it. Study it.
These are Your Adult School Days. Maximize them all to the best of your ability.

Consider How much more you know today than you did a Month ago.
Extrapolate that into Decades.

As an aside from Trading. An anecdote.

In 1994 I made my first business trip to the PRC. To Harbin as a matter of fact. Pinbar's current location.

We stayed at The Swan Hotel & were treated like Kings. (we were being hosted by the PRC Government)
When our luggage was shuffled from limo to lobby to rooms, we all tried to Tip the Porters which totally confused them. Why would we give them money for doing what they are already paid to do. Finally we managed to get them to accept.

Just a short three weeks later, They wouldn't load the luggage back into the limo Until we Tipped them.

Now That's what I call aLearning Curve & I Love it.

The rent on my spacious 5 room, brand new apartment on the 21st floor is just two nights stay in that hotel. LOL
Must have been a nice place.
