Is there a EMA crossover indicator (I need arrows only, no email, or alerts necessary) which has a SHIFT function in it, as I use shifted MA crossover?

I also need something like this,
you are perfectly right,
it does definitely NOT alert when the crossing takes place,
it does so 1 candle to late and sometimes even 3 or MORE to late,
thats not even useful when one tiny candle can mean much money lost
depending on how many lots you have in,
I have been jerking around with the settings but nothing seems to help,
I think the code is all wrong

there used to be a yahoo group that has all these alerts EA, not sure if it still exists, you might want to search it, the group name is MT4 Indicators or something like that

The MA Crossover Alert posted by Scrat works fine. The settings are defined in the 2nd indie posted (2MA CrossoverWithPrice), but it doesn't seem to work correctly. The one listed in this post is totally on top of almost all crossovers. Arrow is posted on opening of candle following XOver.

I understand that nnotification can be send to our email.
But may I know if we can send the crossover notification to my iphone? Im running metatrader 5 in my iphone.

Can some1 please tell me how?

MT4 does not know whether the message sent goes to a regular email or someone's phone. That depends on the address and the person's carrier. Most carriers have the ability to send a message to a phone by using the phone number as part of the address like [email protected]. Try it by sending an email from your regular email to your phone. If that works, change the MT4 email options to the phone address. Worked for me - but remember the alert has to be brief.

I don't rely on indicators for my trade and if at all I decide to trade using indicators, I won't use a robot. You should get used to manual placing of your trade it is safer.

Hello,

I need an indicator that gives an alert when a moving average crosses a horizontal line, not price but when it crosses an ma. The reason for this is, is to prevent false entries. The horizontal line represents the support and resistance and price. When the ma hits it, I want to be notified with an alert. Actually to take me into a trade and an alert, if possible. Maybe, an alert that will signal it's 10 pips away from the horizontal line. When price hits the support and resistance there is a 50% chance it is false. When the ma, that I want set, hits my boundary line, there is a 95% chance it will hit a good trend. So, please, can someone help me find an indicator that will give an alert (maybe 10 pips away from ma hitting horizontal line (price/support and resistance) and I need to be able to experiment with different ma's by setting whatever ma I want to put in.

The input OSD on the MA Cross was hard to read so I have cleaned it up a little. I think it makes it easier to follow but you can decide which one you prefer.
I also have 3 & 4 ma cross varieties if anyone wants them.

This indi draws lines, not arrows.
