Good idea, Rebecca. Activated it OOTB last night on 10 pairs. Woke up to ~180 pips on 4 trades, all winners. Closed 'em before US unemployment data and Draghi's debut.

I don't really understand how the overall trend is determined with this bot. I've got several other things going and haven't had time to look into it. Anyway, now that Draghi's bomb has been dropped, I'll crank it back up.

BTW, I've never had an EA get off to such a good start. Never. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I have loaded the EA Lawgirl21 MA Cross with Hanover EA
I have changed ecn broker to true
I have a micro account so is there any thing else I need to change?
all pairs have the word micro eg. AUDUSDmicro will this have any effect on the working of the EA .

Should work. Steve originally wrote the ea and he compensates for these things

Just ran it as a scalper, 15M/1M. Made around 150 pips in about an hour. Set Trend Detection to false, UseAA to false, all else OOTB. The 3/8 on the higher TF is all the trend detection this thing needs, imo. This scalping setup should only work in high volume, but I'm gonna let it run the rest of the day and see what happens.

Using this method, it'll open a lot of trades, pretty much every pair. It almost acts like a basket trader.

exciting start here. we have to use 1:4 timeframe ratio is that right? so what are the implications of setting that up? can i drop the EA onto say a 1H chart and it will automatically set up that ratio internally with a lower timeframe or do i also need to set it up on a lower timeframe chart?

sorry for the noob question but i haven't been following the non - ea thread

1:4 is what LG recommends, but I was just doing some experimenting. In the user inputs, you have ma TF and ma TF2. If you wanted to try this scalping setup, set ma TF to 15 and ma TF2 to 1. If you leave ma TF to '0', it defaults to whatever TF your chart is. If you set it to 15, you can switch TFs without screwing up the EA. At least, that's the way I understand it.

You have to be careful, though, because if you load it up on a chart, it'll open a trade if the MAs are giving the green light, and the move might be at or near its end, with the distinct possibility of reversing at any moment. In fact, it's one of the unwritten laws of forex trading, from what I've seen.

Strategy: MA have to crosse curent opening candel and after 30 secondes,IF going down sell, up buy.

It can't find that indicator. You can get a copy from Steve Hopwood's Spider EA thread
Hi Dryclean,

In the EA, your exit rule is to close on cross opposite way (or AA opposite signal).
Is it the same way Rebecca used in the manual system ?
