DislikedIt seems to open the trades as per the rules in post 1, but looking at the code I don't think it will ever close the positions with the default settings. You either need to active one of the trailing stop functions, or change "Close On Opposite Signal" to true - or do both.Ignored
DislikedWhere the EA will differ from manual trading is with the use of the 200 EMA. If I interpret the rules correctly it's "all about the vibe" on the 200 EMA, where as the EA is only taking trades in the direction of the long term moving average. So, it only took the GBPUSD trade an hour or so ago, not the EURUSD one that forexpippy refers to.Ignored
DislikedEveryone......I've started another thread for the EA. Please post EA information there. Those of us who are interested in using an EA will monitor that thread also.
Trying to keep it "pure" here. Thanks everyone and thanks for the hard work on the EAs. I know they are difficult and take lots of time.

Dislikedjust showing this chart for illustration puposes...weird price spikes from FXDD feed 80 pip bar and spread went to around 20 pips in a few seconds. I know there is news coming in a bit but this did take out some longs within 80 pips of price. Cleaning up stops... not sure... but erratic as all hell. Lucky for me I was in a short so it is continuing down...3800 to 3720 and back in 5 seconds or less.Ignored
DislikedHi Wavetrend
reason for the spike down then slightly back up was the ECB rate decision, dropping rates by 25bp

Entered GBPUSD upon H1/M15 EMA cross (as shown in the charts I posted), followed by EURUSD a short while after on the H1/M15 EMA cross.
I'm still using/experimenting with MPTM to manage my trades once I've opened them because (a) I can't be in front of the screen all the time to monitor my trades, and (b) I can't be lured into deviating from my plan since it's out of my control!
EURUSD: 70% of trade was closed at TP1, locking in 22 pips. SL was...Ignored
