Latest update to TBWH in post 1. I have removed the WB trading style options and fixed a logic error that was causing pendings to be deleted as soon as they were sent.

Hi Steve,

what do you think about using the Hanover indicator for recovery trades only?
So we could use the logic of TB as it is/was for the first trade entry. Also we could still use the WhiteBox trades.
Maybe you could realise this as an option (HanoverOnlyForRecovery) input.

Let's see how what we have works out for now. This is something to consider if the current thingy turns out not to be an advantage.

I endorse every Sam's words. The Beast, with some manual intervention when there is extreme volatility, is a money machine. I have achieved 70% profit in 3 month.
Please do not abandon it.

Fantastic! Much better results than me! Are you using the Beast with white box, or the plain TOB?

Sam,
I am using white box that often involves some DD that we have to manage. Last months have been very difficult and volatile. I played against the CHF and JPY that generated a quite big DD. I removed The Beast from all pairs involving CHF and JPY and I did some risky trades at support for EURJPY that run quite well. (please see attachment)
Regarding set file I am using the one published by Fxozgirl some time ago.

Hi,

Just a technical question; I'm using some version of Pippo on multiple pairs [30+] and update the setfile everytime the equity allows me.

After updating these all this morning, I got a feeling there must be another solution to update the setfile in all pairs at the same time.

Can anybody enlighten me if there is, and if so tell this to me?
[trying to edit in MetaEditor and compile gave me a "access denied" pop-up]

In Metaeditor after making the changes to the settings, you should save the .mq4 file first. Do so by either saving it directly in the directory you opened it from or save as (and select directory). After doing so, you should be able to compile with your new settings.

Nope, I can't save the file unless I give it another name.
It probably has to do with the fact that there are trades open using the settings of the EA.

I'll just have to do the labor from time to time I'm afraid....

Just so you know, I have recently changed Max no of pairs to trade from 5 to 3 (all other settings the same) mainly due to the volatility you mention over the last few months.
this has allowed TB a chance to recover and I don't stress over drawdown or margin.

Thanks for your information regarding bloody volatility of current markets. I decided to mantain Max nbr of pairs in 5, but I tighthened the margin percent allowed to 'FkMinimumMarginPercent=1500'. I do not remember if this is from your original setup but for me it is a good lifesaving as The Beast fall asleep as soon this level is reached.
This month I am aprox 6% up without ANY intervention...amazing
