Right, I use the logic of EW to predict moves of the herd. And herding is not logical (most of the time) .

Herding does not need an extrinsic factor. There can be an extrinsic factor to push the herd in one or the other direction, but there is no need for it.

I think of Elliot Wave as a "Cycle Theory" and its sometimes very hard to tell exactly the time when a wave ends and a new one starts. I mentioned about the New Moon on a previous post:

And I believe the power of the new moon should not be taken for granted. Although the move was up on that day, but the "Delta" or the "Number of days after" where the big wave starts is within +/- 1 to 2 days after that event. You can see that there was a 400 pip move upwards and a 600 pip move downwards.

You can use the New Moon theory along any elliot wave analysis to roughly get an idea when the last wave will end. Its not a easy task, and the way that it can be used is to correlate the New Moon with a relative high and the full moon with a relative low

Even if you dont believe this is to be true, I suggest that checking your indicators during those times, and the oversold/overbought indication will be more authentic.

The next cycle is the first quarter on November 2nd. Now God knows when exactly this retracement starts for another round of selling, but it should be within 24-48 hours from now. Best way to trade I guess would be to start checking your indicators within this time frame and trust it more within these days.

There is no herd....

Just a Black box..... programmed...they make changes when needed to take your money..

4HR is way oversold...its either 1.3640 or 1.3767 -1.3793 first.

Once I posted a study here regarding moon trading. The study stated that it works best in stock markets, especially in Asian markets.

Have not found a good correlation in Forex so far. Do you have a long term chart over the past years with your indi on it? Would be nice to have a look again.

And yes - every pice of your analysis is well appreciated. So show us the Moon :-)

My 1h barely shows beginning divergences. My 4h is divergence free

So do not get burned with OB/OS thinking

4 hr has some crazy Bullish Divergence here...dont get burned.

So as DAILY...

listen to SID..has a good possibility...against all odds..

A few days ago I wrote a piece here about momentum considerations and the number of bars to be judged of.

Bill Williams has done a lot of statistics with his Awesome Oscillator. It works best with 120-140 bars to be judged of.

Since I acknowledged this I only watch at momentum and divergences with such a span of time.
