If I look at the Gann lines we will hit resistance between 1.42 and 1.4250.

as complicated as my head already is i will still continue my research on this topic. sydonic cycle days i am using them after a swing high in an uptrend, and a swing low in a downtrend. i do not absolutely know if that is right or wrong, but i do not know the specific retrograde dates. can anyone please help me on the interplanetary formula of sydonic periods? right now i only know the sydonic periods from earth to the other planets. any help is appreciated greatly. here is what i got so far. please correct me if im wrong. ignore the sell order on the chart. a sydonic cycle is supposed to start at a certain date right? thats what i have trouble finding out. please please, any help at all is greatly appreciatedl

starting point is the same 2002 november 09.

i grabbed a gann wheel pic off of google images and as i do gann's master chart on chart, i do it here. i see something going on... but what is it?

any clues or tips?

sydonic is awesome. There really is no right/wrong. Just play around until something sticks enough times that you're willing to bet it the next time it comes up. I usually heliocentric and the angle between two planets for my sydonic work.

Hello!

Have updated PlotVerticalLineScript, with a help from FF member I have figured out how to plot lines on more than one selected TimeFrame. Comments are in script file.

Also updated MAIN file, it now has planetary hours calculator. Some user inputs are necessary, this is best I could do with present knowledge. Check cell comments. And there are hidden columns - use Unhide function

Some issues:
When you copy-paste data from MAIN file (.xls) to PlotData.csv, you might get 'corrupted' .csv file - instead ',' (comma) delimiter you might have ';' (semi-colon, I think). This forces MT4 to plot data as per Big Bang theory - not good. Simple solution - open PlotData.csv file with Word (or similar), and use Replace function and... yes, replace ';' with ', '. Break after comma is for better readability on Charts.

BTW, all users of this MAIN file are invited to share their findings with community. I am concentrating on Nakshatras and PlanetaryHours.

here is my chart now its pimped to the max. one is a lunar sydonic cycle chart, one is saturn.

saturn is the one with the mess

now i know why u use hand drawn fans. i am using them too. sell orders are swing trades and rescue trades.

i get scrutinzed using cycles. how are you handling it? do u get scrutinized too?

My results speak for themselves. I don't usually make public forecasts before hand. But I will show before/after screen shots with accumulated profit in pips. That shuts people up pretty quick.

Jupiter Saturn would be pretty long. so instead of taking 45 degrees, you might need to take harmonics on down to whatever time frame you're trading.

So divide 45 by 2 and keep dividing by 2 until the cycle length fits your fancy.

Hi Astro-trading-fellows,

I post a table I made some years ago on excel, when I was doing your current cycle research on forex. I'm not consistent in my analysis and research, so I never get practical results... anyway,
I see here someone is doing some search in this field, so I wish to share this table. I did it with some astro software, but I don't remember which one.
The table also includeon the right (orange headers), an example of 4th harmonics of the same cycles. Some cycles, you will notice, are tooooo long, so harmonics is a way to get sub-cycles.

Good research, and if you find something working, please share

The jupiter-saturn cycle is the basis for Ganns 20 year cycle.
Saturn has an orbit of 30 years, it take him 2.5 years to travel through a sign of the zodiac.
Needless to say that this is only helpful for big picture analysis.

Try something with a quicker orbit. Moon for instance works well for intraday.
Mars, Venus and even Jupiter for intermediate timeframes.

Read Bradley Cowan for this kind of analysis.

On the 28th October 2011 Saturn formed a relationship with mercury, venus and mars. On the 29th mars formed an aspect with mercury and venus. These multiple aspects often provoke changes in trend. Simple 1 to 1 relationships are not the key to astro trading and this is why they often fail.

Also Gann I think was looking at past dates with astro accociated event to predict turns in the future. However he also said wait for the change in trend and enter on the correction once the market has turned. Entering on the day of an aspect is painful, because the moves can be excessive.

Okay ILP just finished reading pesavento's book. I use mars jupiter and venus mars cycles. lunar is also exceptional, yet its a little lagging or early, so ill be picky picking them
