This is where Spider fails, buying into R level or selling into S level, not sure how we can prevent it?

Hmm, can do that. We must implement readings from iCustom "some pivot plotter". Was thinking of that...dunno if it makes sense yet, due to small TP...I'll take a look, but might prevent also good trades to develop.
I don't say

Yep that's the problem, don't want to add more filters and then miss out on good trades.....not a problem if it happens at the end of a trend, anyway i guess you can't win them all....

Just got S up and running on 5m with eu & au. First trade fired off on au & is looking good. Had an eu trade give me a 133 error. Not sure what caused that yet.
Cheers

Anybody who adds more filters is on their own here. 'tis not a game I am going to play.

It was quite ride for euro today..perhaps the best approach is to adjust your sl/tp accordingly when adx is below 22!

Hi Steve - testing this EA on M5 with set TP and SL of 15 pips - fairly good results so far. I'm not using Martingale but just risking a set 2% on each trade and as soon as the 2% is made then stopping for the day.

The management alerts would be really helpful for this method to see when a trade has hit TP etc if im not by my computer (then turning the EA off for the day), however even though I have TradeManagementsAlerts set to True I am not receiving these alerts.

I had a little look at the code but couldn't see why it shouldn't work. Any help would be appreciated & thanks for your efforts.

Jimmy

Hi Steve
two weeks live results attached. Nearly 5% up which is quite good ($800a/c, 10 cent lots). 13 trades which averages 1.3 trades per day. 9 profit trades 4 loss trades. IMHO Hanover thingy will lower the danger of martingale.
Kind regards

Just 2 consecutive losses is really nice, what set your using(AA and VQ)? That tells much about accuracy of entry points. I'm trying to find a set that doesn't give too much losses in a row, for the mart thingie. Also playing M15 TF?
Thanks
I don't say

Update in post 1 - fixed the bloop I just described in the Hanover thread. If your crim does not have a pair suffix, you are wondering what the fuss is about. Download the fix anyhow; better that code be correct than not.

Thanks very much. IMHO it will become formidable now. I have attached my set file (had to zip it in order to be able to attach), trading 15min charts. As far as I recall my set file is based on the settings one of the guys posted here over couple of weeks ago. So all the credit to that trader.

Kind regards
