so was stopped out at BE... market erratic... staying out until clear picture... tomorrow definitely will be a volatile day... be careful and good luck

it depend on tf you pick entries from...on 1hour chart some of this ups and down as no signal ..only if you pick top and bottom you can risk this but on 15tf i did it all today buying and selling every swing high or low breakout...

Glad that I did not trade today.....

wonder who made $$ today without a loss? from swing/ intraday prospective not 10- 20 pip scalp.

looking for a test on 1.5755 as retracement.. daily pin bar could be a warning for seller.

Today was really not bad ... nice moves ... that did not last long ...

And action in the box ... with turning points that were quite predictive ...

And then you might understand ... any time frame is important ... but specially you should start to get used to watch the lower TFs ...

This in mind it should be possible specially on a day like this ... to catch some nice pips ...

Got mid terms happening coming week...so I wont take a trade.

I agree with Mercy, it was a nice day with good conditions.

Looking back is always easier but I wanted to share this:

3 simple conservative setups on M5, based on Ichi TK crosses (confirmation from CS marked in cyan) with excellent RR. Roughly 240 pips in one day. That is if there there was time to follow PA closely, not for dayjob bunch like me. I only managed to jump in once.

Technicals on H4 and D1 remain inconclusive for me, I'd be happy for any thoughts, hints, whatever!

H4 had a decent bullish leg (06.10. - 14.10.) and is oscillating since. If Kumo support holds the bullish trend could resume, retesting 388 before eventually breaking higher. A close below 3658 would be needed for a bearish perspective.

D1 is as inconclusive as at beginning of week:
- weak bullish TK cross with resistance 388 and 397
- CS at PA suggests further resistance until a breakout would confirm bullish trend
- possible retracement to 3658 (not the first time) and 3525


Taking in account it is Friday and the nervosity might peak today ahead of the summit I'll focus on collecting breadcrumbs in lower TFs

I try to take the risk over with a Short @ 1.38 (1/10) just now.

...and update the Pending Orders Short @ 1.3850 (1/10) [Target @ 1.3675] @ 1.3890 (1/10) [Target @ 1.3625] @ 1.3950 (2/10) [freestyle: close at H4 or daily CCI Bottom] @ 1.4015 (1/10) [freestyle: Close at H1 or H4 CCI Bottom]

...and will scalp the ups and downs at M1 besides.

Consistent spreads from 1.2 pips (which is really not competitive I must say) ...

Metatrader 4 (not a good and convincing argument) with full functionality (was immer das heißen soll - ja haben denn andere selbst dann bei einem solchen billigen und schlecht gemachten Massenprodukt wie MT4 etwa sogar noch nur abgespeckte Versionen davon) ...

Okey-dokey ...

TABLE survey EUR/USD with most significant keys and turning points ...

Elliott still points down ...

As you can see ... start point been 1.3914 and 1.3869 (second attempt to push higher) with projection of 1.3669 or 1.3653 in focus ...

IMM stops above 1.3904 and 1.3959 ...

While capped below 1.3862 (Écart Res 2) there might be further sell-off activities on the agenda. Some dissapointment prior to Sunday summit can easily lead us towards 1.3677 (DP Sup 1) or below that even to below 1.3638 (Écart Sup 2) zones ...

Otherwise ... unexpected good news can lead to corrective upside swings towards 1.3816 (ZigZag Pro) 1.3844 (EX-High) or even above 1.3862 (crucial trigger) ...

Any sudden cross above 1.3929 (Écart Res 3) will be considered as a bullish trigger ...



Be aware ... it is not only a FRIDAY ... it is a FRIDAY prior to Sunday Summit ...

As I see ... you have a kind of strategy there ... which suggests starting from various higher levels with short entries of 10K size of positions ...

Please correct me if I'm wrong ...

This kind of strategy seems to me quite good working ... in military purposes also known as "bracketing" ... versuchsweises "Sperrfeuer" ...

Komme gerne später einmal darauf zurück ... sofern Gelegenheit dazu und falls genehm ...
