GOLD H4 looks like a rising wedge actually, and it's not healthy for the upside. Just and observation, not a trade setup!

Gold TF 30 .

breake the middle line at the shi channel.
And over the 3 Tops.
see the red long wicked .
Gameplan 1692.
Gold can go short 1670 (weekly Pinot) a new chance go long.

May I ask why you think it could slide to 30/40 through WP? 50/55 has provided decent support over the last week or so.

You just have to be careful right now. the H4 wedge is clear on the radar now. What you want to give direction is M30-H1 candle close well above the upper/lower TL now.

If H1 TL breaks to the downside (the one that support PA now) and cracks WP, I'd say it's a short. If we in turn break 1698-1706 area and M30 closes above 98-02 area we will resolve higher.

Just my reading of the current situation.

if we manage to close proper 98-06 area downside scenario is cancelled, meanwhile have to keep eyes open for both options.

Still today I'm not trading regardless, something to be aware of tmrw.

On GOLD it's important not to loose sight of the BIG PICTURE. This is a daily CHART OF GOLD

[b]1) We are well supported by the TL now
2) Price contained within the CONTAINER
3) Once container breaks out - strong reaction expected
4) Current PA configuration points @ further upside
5) QP is 1675 MP is 1692 QR1 is 1870 MR1 is 1851.
6) Once BOX breaks and MP is broken (1692) we will head MUCH HIGHER
7) INITIAL UPSIDE TARGETS - 1730...
Other that that this HTF analysis remains active. Price soon will decide, which scenario is valid.

Also if you are an eagle eye, you prolly spotted the BEARISH ENGULFER pattern @ MP level. That kinda signifies downside.

SILVER H4 hints @ downside resolution. Suspect TL break below WP level. Below MP as well. Not a very healthy setup, and looks like will try for 30 now.
