Wasn't quick enough to spot this London fakeout setup this morning. EU 1 hr overnight couldn't close above MR1 giving upper wicks. After LO price breaks above MR1 but again closes below, another 1 hr wick.

15 min shows a push up then a spinning top hesitation followed by a solid neg close on the hour with CII divergence.

5 min lh closing below MR1 and crossing the 8lwma.

Both of course mostly lead countrys in the basket.. the largest of course is the EURO... so like last nite with these 2 falling out of the Sky.. there was dynamic longs in the ones i follow.. EURO.. Cable and Dragon..I watch live charts of them both on a second screen.. My chart Source.. is Net Dania.. for the Index..but this can be any thing from at the moment or up to 1 hr delay..and FXpro for live DXY at the moment..I cant post charts from either cause i havent worked out how.....
Dan, thanks for all that info, very interesting.. will check out AmyC's posts/dollar index etc.

Just wondering how you get the DXY on FxPro? Is that available on their mt4 platform? I use FxPro for charting but can't see DXY available anywhere - they do offer a lot of symbols but can't see that one.

Don't know if you've tried IntelliCharts for the Index, I've looked and it appears it may show a current level compared to Netdania, you can find it here...

I noticed that the $Index was banging down on a support level this morning (my time that is) at LO just before that big drop in EU/GU etc. That's got my attention now..

Thanks.. Ian.. site noted and will look...Re DXY.. web based.. site ..fourexpros.com.....Re INDEX and Amyc pivot numbers...were index is now.. 77.00ish.. well current 1/4 number.. is 77.03.. mid point... or PPX.. week.. 100% point77.08... 100% is last weeks range minus.. center pivot... and month pivot is 77.27.. i reckon if it can close above this point on say 1hr or 4 hr.. it will be game on to the low side for most in the basket.. and visa versa if it breaks below 77.00.. also have been told and have noticed but havnt been following long..USDCAD tends to lead the Index and DXY... also have noticed USD CAD reacts with deadly accurcey to these bigger pivot ranges..or has done since i have been following..Oh and on netdania... is showing that w8 rsi diverge.. on Index.

Ian.. see u at RR.. i dont agree my bias is Index..DXY up .. will still look for short trades as per.. V method.. total indecision at the mo thou in my opn... mite be another small range day..Tis friday hey..Check out front page..check.. trendline indicator.. well worth a look i think..

Yes not sure which way EU wants to go atm. There was a 5 min lh after bounce off the upper trend line, I nearly took it but am very wary of trading during FH due to sudden changes of direction catching me out in the past.

$INX shooting up atm.

For some reason she didn't take this one. This is a fave set up of of hers, 25-ish pip counter trend retrace. Nice morning star pattern cross of 8 lwma (the cross of lwma in trend in itself not a shabby trade). Ema's perfect, prev 1hr was a solid pos close.

She was expecting visitors blah blah blah, not the end of the world.

I am again reminded of the story Vic Noble mentioned about a massive (50 full lots at a time) trader who highly successfully traded only gu 4hr divergence. prepared to wait for those few trades in a month.

There is a lesson there.

Thanks for posting them, with that set up (divergence + fozzy cross) no wonder you have that as a direction bias, love it.

4 hr dragon again..besides fozzy RSI div.. note fibo cluster.. 50% and 2 exts..1.618 and 1.50%... well worth following on 15 m and 5 m i reckon..

EU 1hr pos close above 8lwma, RSI up above 50 level, 15 min spinning top, 5 min hl break of 4 hr resistance and trend line, nice angle and separation on all ma's, entry 3884, out for +20 at 3904 after price stalled above the RN.

That's tough Dan, especially as EU's on it's way down again now.

I didn't take this as 1 hr well above ma and rsi still strongly up.

However a nice setup apart from that, 1 hr SS rejecting Friday's high, 15 min SS, 5 min lh no lower wick.
