EU - after LO price pulls back to top of yesterday's Asian range (solid teal line), 50 level and just above today's open (solid blue line) and makes a 5 min hl. There is a bearish 15 min bar but price can't push below it. Last 1 hr was solid up. Entry at 3655, all out at 3675 for +20.

No need to apologise brother. I thought it was funny thats all. I have been a long time lurker in this thread but havent made many posts. I leave the posting to the seasoned pros. Just checking in to see how my favourite method is going.

Hi Dan. FWIW - I have CII on every chart (except M1). I find it invaluable for divergence - Medici introduced me to it several years ago. Cheers.

I agree, the Composite Index is really useful for divergence.

Have been really busy. My son is on the verge of getting another contract, same monthly level of sqm's but enough units to keep him busy for about 3 years. At which stage he will be financially set for life. So fingers crossed and . As much as I miss the trading I cannot say no, how can you. Systems in office and on site firmly in place.

As if that wasn't enough he and his brother are now 50% in a small 2nd hand car dealership and I am doing that financial admin also.

During the last few weeks Mrs V has had flu, neck problems (C4-C7 spinal fusion several years ago acted up) and to top it all her blood pressure spiked yesterday also. Basically little if any trading. She did manage this one after the doji for a nice winner on the run up.

I had hopes of getting the odd trade in at work when things are running comfortably, we'll see. If this next contract comes off that will be highly unlikely.

Thanks to Ian and Danc for keeping some charts going.

Sorry in my haste the 1hr was green all the way, its rsi above 50 and fozzy crossed up (for those that like that). A nice solid 25 odd pip retrace, doji (the 1 exception to our upper wick rule), reject of 50 psych level/2 high vol POC lines (brown), perfect 5 min ma's.

She wasn't around for the nice earlier hl entries.

V. good to hear your news, sounds like you've got a really nice family business going there. Sorry to hear of Mrs V's problems, hopefully she'll be back to good health asap.

It would be great if you can keep popping in now and then to check we're still on track. This is still my favourite thread by far and I'd hate to see it dry up.

I took the same EU trade as Mrs V. this am but probably entered a little early (my exit certainly was) not waiting for the 15 min doji to form. It was also before price closed above the 8lwma.

I'll try and keep some charts going, (won't be able to keep up with Dan though) whether I've traded that day or not as I find the discipline of marking up and posting charts makes me analyse everything much more thoroughly. This is for purely selfish reasons as it helps me keep moving forward in learning about what works and what doesn't. If it helps anyone else in the process then that's a bonus. Unfortunately like you I have other business interests which occupy much of my time when really I'd rather be trading.

Anyway hope you'll be around again soon. Best wishes to you and yours.

V.. amm.. Yes i do and i also watch the Futures contract.. DXY.. Both of course mostly lead countrys in the basket.. the largest of course is the EURO... so like last nite with these 2 falling out of the Sky.. there was dynamic longs in the ones i follow.. EURO.. Cable and Dragon..I watch live charts of them both on a second screen.. My chart Source.. is Net Dania.. for the Index..but this can be any thing from at the moment or up to 1 hr delay..and FXpro for live DXY at the moment..I cant post charts from either cause i havent worked out how.. or even if u can..How do i analise.. well much the same as here.. but on bigger time scales.. I find Net Dania .. for the Index i much easyer to analise.. clearer charts more tools and bigger time scales..also the data is very reliable.. there..I do use pivots all hier time scales... 1/4.. month and week.. I do by hand.. i mean the Calcus.. then mark.. as per.. were the chart is.. mprice wise.. i find these pivots vare very reliable.. mostly .. I use fibo pivots.. not the normal..If any one wants more info on this i suggest go to the AMYC.. Journal..Page 21... she is a Genius..Oh i also look at the Futures USD charts on Bar Charts .com.. for the volume.. which is very reliable..on the shorter term charts.. ie 15m.. 30min 1hr.. u can offten pick turn points from volume clusters..I mean i will look at that in the morning here in Aussie to form a view with other stuff wether its going up or down..and then relate to the 3 i follow..main pivots i follow.. are mid... and 50% and .618.. but i do calcu from .236.. up to 100.. I hope i have explained this properly.. Feel free to ask and questions.. and if any one can work out how to post.. charts from net dania or fx pro please let me know.. or were i mite get better more utodate charts for the index..Hope i havnt made this sound like a lot of gobbly gook.. cause realy its quite simple.
So just to finish what i am trying to do is form an over view were those 2 are heading and then look for the opposite price action to try to get some pips on the three i follow..

EUUD 4 hr.. nice Fozzy chart diversion.. based on what i am seeing on USD index re resistance lines am thinking shorts are fair probality...

Watching 15min and 5 min.. very close to taking short possie.. also just looking at USD.. 60 min candle chart looks to me based on volume over 13/14 bars there is strong buying at this point and it will go to the hi side..so UD up EU down.. could be totaly wrong thou..
